With all the young talent and louisiana to recruit......frick yes I would. You know you have LF7 for one more year, athletic TE's, WR's......and Tiger Stadium.

If I already make 5mil a year, depends on where I am currently employed. Almost every coach worth his salt makes 4mil a year. Very few out there worth 6mil a year.

If I were made aware that there was a Pei Wei that close to campus, then yes, absolutely.

Exactly.
If the next coach is anxious to come to LSU so he can cash a check, then he's probably unproven, coming from a 2nd tier program, or out of work. Probably not a good fit either way.

I still don't understand how in the world, people say miles deserves to stay. Honestly, I think he get's one more year, and the rest will take care of itself, but if you've watched LSU over the past 4 years, you have to see they are not as good as they were, in the past. First, he's never had back to back to back losses, at LSU. Second, 2008 was a bad year, but he rebounded and made a nice run, starting in 2010. 2009 was better than 08, but I can't get the ole miss game out of my head, when I think about that season. Last season, he was 8-5, and this season speaks for itself. Then you look at the absolute lack of development at the Qb position every single year, and it's mind boggling. Chavis leaves, and he takes weeks to interview candidates, and ends up with Kevin Steele? How does that happen? If not for Orgeron, the defense would be as bad as it was in 2008. Do we even need to discuss special teams?

You don't think other coaches can see that the program is starting to slip away from him and there needs to be a change?

Top tier programs, like Texas, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, etc., will always be sought after venues for the coaching elite. Salary, recruiting, facilities...three things we can offer.

The line would be out the door, with some can't miss names. And if we get one of those can't miss names, he could still be a failure. Charlie Strong seemed like a perfect hire for Texas, and, well..

Look at the last 4 years. Lost mediocre bowl games to teams with less talent. Finished unranked last year. Unranked right now. Hired a terrible DC. Hired a terrible ST coach. Offense has been very poor for a while now. Had the highest paid staff in the country and getting pushed around by teams that are not that good. Poor clock management. Team looks unprepared and confused even coming out of timeouts. There more but I think a legit coach looks at this situation and understands why LSU lets Miles go.

Strong doesn't fit anywhere around Texas. They were not lining up in 07, they won't line up now. Some people have unrealistic expectations of the LSU program
