If you want Bama to beat A&M, you are not an LSU fan - a 6 year recap

This post will piss half of you off, but I'm posting it because you need to hear it. We have a big week this week with Florida coming to town, but Bama also goes on the road to College Station. This is once again an important game for LSU fans to keep an eye on. 6 years ago, I posted that if you are pulling for Bama to beat A&M, you are not an LSU fan.
At the time, there were many ridiculous LSU fans who ignorantly felt that it would be best for LSU to "beat an undefeated Bama" and that they were concerned about the "ascendence of another SEC West power." With another edition of this game coming up, and given the way we lost to A&M last year, it's a great time to remind everyone that if you want Bama to beat A&M, you are not an LSU fan.
Here is a little 6 year recap since my 2013 post:
Bama: 6-0 vs LSU
A&M: 1-5 vs LSU
Bama: 80-8 overall record with 6 SEC Titles and 2 National Titles
A&M: 50-31 overall record with LOL SEC and LOL National Titles
Bama: signed two 5 stars and nine 4 stars from Louisiana
A&M: signed one 5 star and one 4 star from Louisiana
We are in a vicious cycle.
1) Bama beats LSU.
2) Bama goes on to win SEC and/or National Title.
3) Bama is able to pluck 4 and 5 stars from Louisiana because of this success.
4) Repeat.
I hope after 8 years, all of you are tired of losing to that fricking team littered with Louisiana players. The only way to break this cycle is for Bama to lose football games.. to us, to anyone. I'll be pulling for a Bama loss this weekend, because I am an LSU fan.

And honestly after that bullshite they pulled last year I can absolutely want Bama to beat A&M.
Plus I look forward to another game of the century.

Two losses knock Alabama out of playoff contention. If they only lose to LSU then there's always the chance that Alabama backdoors their way in and LSU ends up having to beat them twice.

Your entire post is based on the assumption that Bama will be irrelevant if A&M beats them, while Bama will be relevant until Saban retires. Period. That may piss you off, but it’s the truth.
It’s better for Alabama to beat A&M and keep them irrelevant than for A&M to win and become a major player under Jimbo while Bama remains a powerhouse.
Your stats show 1 irrelevant team and 1 dominant team. 1 loss to an irrelevant team isn’t going to knock off the dominant team, but it could be the spark that makes the irrelevant team take the next step and start beating us and stealing recruits that we want. So yea, the premise of your post is pretty much completely wrong
