If you think Ensminger was truly the man pulling the strings last year after today

Then you’re beyond help. A lot of the same issues last time he was actually in charge

And yes I know the D sucked too but let’s just kill the propaganda of Steve being an offensive savant. His career says he’s average to poor and that is exactly what he is

Yup, but what can even be done about it?

Anyone that thought that before the game was beyond help. Ensminger has never been a good OC in his career

A lot of open receivers were ignored by Brennan. Can’t really blame that on E

Please explain how the playcalling was bad? The WRs were wide the frick open but our blind arse QB couldn't get it to them.

I didn’t love the playcalling today but it really was so far down the list of issues

Nobody with a brain thought that. He’s 62 years old.

Linehan and Bo were pretty uninspiring hires. Reminded me of Les hiring Steele and Krags, and even worse having to go to Stud

It is super disappointing we went away from those playcalling patterns. No choice routes, no doubles routes, very little verticals, no back out of the backfield. We should have started the game with Brennan running nothing but WR screens so he could get his bearings. We also had that nonsensical WR rotation.

No coach can help Brennan throw the ball

Part of coaching is to develop and, well, coach

We haven't developed a QB since Jimbo still

I don’t put today on E, Brennan didn’t pick up a TON of open WRs.

Dude, Brennan is scared to throw the ball. It has nothing to do with the plays that were called.

It’s hard to say. Brennan pat the ball so ducking much, there’s probably a hole in the game ball

Linehan is a bit more hopeful than Bo, as at least Linehan ran choice routes with Detroit, last I remember. Bo was a dinosaur hire.

The red zone play calling was bad in 2018 and that continued today in a huge way

Overall just uninspired and predictable play calling all day

Was it our biggest problem? No but it’s still a huge issue and better scheming could have masked issues to beat Mississippi fricking state

The way they called the first couple scoring drives in the second half was how they should’ve called the first two drives of the game. I think we ran 8 times in the first half.

Aranda would’ve dropped 8 with the occasional zone blitz in the second half. Bo got absolutely worked.
