Would you be ok with the idea of LSU paying to get a player of Cam Newton's caliber at quarterback?

NO!!! We are not the trash that Auburn and Alabama are. I want our program to be clean and respected and not have the constant rumor mill around it that some dirty programs, like Auburn and Bama, constantly have.

Stop trying to make AU look better by insinuating "everybody would have done it."

Are you asking if LSU fans would sell out their integrity to gain a player of great talent and low morals????

This is just like asking would you cheat on your wife if you would never get caught. It sure would be tempting and feel good, but not really worth it being you would always know the truth!!!!!

Absoulutely not. It was disgusting to go throught the Lester Earl period in basketball. It's just wrong, ethically and morally. The coach that helped the juco kid illegally with an apartment last year was just as bad. Don't get me wrong. I think it's high time the NC2a allowed some sort of stipend for student athletes but the integrity of the game is spoiled for me when a student is playing for more than glory and school pride. We have our professional teams already. The college game is so special because of the student athletes and what it means to be one.

Do you really think none of our guys get improper benefits that are against the rules???

Every big time program has skeletons for sure.

No. Hell, we kicked our starting QB off the team for MUCH LESS than getting paid to sign.

Miles and LSU win with integrity IMO, and it makes me even prouder. That said, Auburn has had a truly magical 2010 season, cheating or no cheating.

improper benefits are one thing. Paying 200k for a player is quite another, and that's why I hate Auburn for so blatantly flouting the rules to win a BCS title.

I'll let the NCAA make that conclusion, instead of some random message board posters, thank you very much.
