I think the track record shows Torina will never win it

I think wade can if he can get from under this ncaa cloud

I think jay Johnson will with the resources LSU has

The next football natty will be with a new head coach

Mulkey will win at least one

I think Mulkey will win a couple of national titles. She is getting ready to dominate here and Gino is going to retire.

Mulkey is gonna need at least a few years to get the talent level where it needs to be to compete with the big dogs.

People expecting her to contend for a title next year are crazy...

I think there is more of a chance for Johnson. I think it’s more likely Orgeron will be gone in five years than he win a title. Wade too.

Only 2 have a chance but I’d pick Coach O over Johnson.

Let’s keep it to 5 sports
Others not listed are more likely to win sooner than some of these. Why not list all of the sports we have legit shots in the near future?

Kim Mulkey: Not this year, Certainly the expectation in the near future
Ed Orgeron: Recently won
Will Wade: Big things expected next couple years
Beth Torina: Contender every year
Jay Johnson: That's our expectation near future
Jay Clark: Contender every year
Dennis Shavers: Just won
Russell Brock(WBV): Contender every year

Who am I missing?

Looking at this lineup, is LSU gearing up to win national championships in multiple sports on a regular basis?

Mulkey and Johnson next year. O the year after with WBB making the final four but coming up short. Wade, Mulkey and O in 2024

If Mulkey is going to be on the list, then I think the question has to be modified to “which LSU coach is the next to win a natty that anyone will care about?”

Probably Mulkey. I don’t see O or Beth winning one. Possible Wade but that’s a stretch it would have to all line up perfectly for a tournament run. Too much unknown about Johnson to pick him

Yes. I see LSU women’s basketball going on a decade long run. Ginos out at UConn. LSU getting ready to move in. I see a couple of national titles here for Mulkey.
