I was just waiting for this to be posted on the rant

Predicatable as usual.

Fire Miles at the end of 2015 or the end of 2016. Bringing him back for 4 games was dumb.

Every time I look at a post like this I know is a disguised NEGATIVE post towards the coach and usually from someone who has only joined TD in recent years....to have the rest of the negative gang join in.
I guess it makes him feel better.

Get better fans who actually support the team - good or bad - and don't get hysterical at the first hint of hardship, that realize that not every team wins all their games 50-0 every week and that, sometimes, the opponent is good too. Maybe then there'd be less of the roller coast of "we're going to the ship!" to "we suck" and "fire everyone!"
The "Fans" have never lost a single game in the history of LSU Athletics..…….

I'd make the shoulder stripes on the uniforms go all the way around like the old ones.

Let each one of the knowitalls from this board have a week or so at the helm, let them call a game so we can see some of these no offensive line successful plays, let them take over recruiting for a couple of weeks. Let them walk in the head coaches shoes for a week.
And no fricking excuses either. Remember a monkey can recruit a top ten class at LSU it recruits itself.

You know all you blow hard, moral victory, mediocre accepting, pansies can start your own website. You don’t need to come here and listen to people who want the program to succeed.

“ have a week at the helm”
Are they going to get one 13th of $3.5 million? If so, I will give it a shot vs Bama. I couldn’t do worse than 0.
People have been criticizing LSU football performance for a variety of reasons for as long as this forum has been around. And that was under two other coaches who actually won national championships. Our current coach hasn’t even come close to winning the SEC West title. Why people think the program shouldn’t be criticized is beyond me.
Beat Bama, win the west, produce a respectable SEC offense, and most of the criticism will go away. That shouldn’t be all that hard for anyone to understand.

Why don't you miserable gumpnecks disguised as LSU fans go back to gumpland and post on your own board.

He just finished his 2nd full year. Why can't you give the coaching staff a chance to build their team. The program isn't above criticism but that's not what most of you do. There's a difference between criticism and personal attacks.

People are holding him to the "no rebuild" comment at his introductory press conference. He tends to say things at the podium to sell himself and the program that make it easy to use against him in these threads. Regardless of that, I agree with you that any new head coach and his staff deserve their customary 3 years to assemble the type of guys they want to be the type of team they want to be.

Even at that. You still would need to look at changing the type of personnel as you go from a primarily running offense to a spread. You would definitely need to get more athletic at the tackle position. I'm not sure about the tight ends.

Not an insider.
But the Keep Miles frickup at the end of 2015 was a total mismanagement from the top.
So was the miles contract extension in 2012.
So I’m going with eliminating F King and Joe.
Even if they are at odds and one is right/the other isn’t, there is so much we do t know.
So blow it up from the top.

“ he just finished his 2nd full year”
While there is truth in that, there is also truth in the fact that he’s been here since 2015 and been making game day decisions since 4 games in to 2016. He didn’t just suddenly appear on the LSU campus in January 2017.
The majority of the criticism is in respect to his offense and he’s pretty much earned that criticism. When you hire your first OC for $1.5 million and start interfering with his process 4 games into the season, you naturally open the door to receive a lot of criticism. When you fire that one, hire a OC who has been out of that business for 20 years, he proceeds to produce the 10th best offense in the SEC, you have once again opened that door wide for more criticism.
You seem to want to act as if we don’t have good reasons to be critical of the LSU offense and there by critical of the HC and OC. We do and when we don’t, most will stop being critical. There were good reasons to be critical of Cam’s O and his O produced better scoring and more yards per game than any O we have had since.
