If we win it all this year how much longer does CBK stay?

He came here with the goal of winning a title. Once he does that does he stick around or ride off in the sunset?

Too much money he’d be leaving on the table to ride off. He’d probably try at least 2-3 more seasons to see if he could ride the momentum and doubling that 1 into 2. Lots of guys have 1. Lot fewer have 2. Only 2 active guys (Kirby and Dabo, and they both “just” have 2).

How about we beat Florida first. I’m convinced we’re a playoff team. I’m not yet convinced we’re a natty team. I choose to be cautiously optimistic.

In any case most high IQ baws of this board want him gone so that they can replace him with a younger version of Coach O. So why do we care.

Hes not going to stay longer than 10 years.

So lsu is winning the title already?
shite I wasn't even ready to say that after half a season with the 2019 team.
Almost everything has to go right to win a title. Injuires being the biggest.

This board is priceless. The range of posts is concern about Kelly sucking in big games and LSU getting blown out in the opener all the way to concern he's going to leave after we win the national championship this year.

Well... yeah.
We like to have all the bases covered so we know how to properly melt when the time comes. For instance - if LSU blows a big lead and loses one we'll refer to games way back from the early 1970s to prove our point that LSU never can close out a game. You should know this by now. It's just our nature.

He stays a long time, a lot longer than anyone can imagine. With AI and modern technological advancements like Neurolink, he is able to yell at his players from the press box well into his late 80s. And this point though lsu fans complain that the product is stale and we are bored with winning championship after championship and they force him out for none other than…Cody Oregon.

Haven't you heard? Ed's currently being courted by alabama.

You’re talking about the natty after week 1?
Clemson is overrated. It was still a great win and for once we finished in a game 1 and didn’t let up. But they’re overrated and will likely get their asses kicked multiple times this season.
The biggest concern I would have is how much closer the score was than the stats looked. LSU dominated that game everywhere but the scoreboard, the only place that mattered. Even with the TD being called back. What happens when we’re more evenly matched?

We've played one game and we're already looking to the future?

Some of you create the absolute worst threads. How would anyone possibly know this

If he wins a championship, he should be immediately fired; time to move on. Signed, tRant.

Easy there, pump the brakes. It's only week 2.

I said when we hired BK that if he stayed 10 years he'd win at least 2 titles. It's probably somewhere in my post history.
I based my statement on the fact that 2 ABSOLUTE village idiots won a title before Kelly took over. After Saturday, I believe this even stronger.
