Why did LSU even get Alleva?

I will forever despise him for his handling of the Duke Lacrosse situation and hiring O out of emotion with no thorough search.

I’ve been against O from the beginning but if the offense improves a considerably amount he should get all the credit.

All 3, but I'll have to evaluate each one to properly weight it. Plus, I'll have to give a bit of credit to meyer and to jimmy burrow and to the almighty.

equally CSE, OL, and QB... with a nod to Sullivan (passing game coordinator)

It takes all 3. One fails, it all fails.

Urban Meyer gets all the credit because he recruited and developed Joe. At least that is the "thinking" here on the Rant.

No uh... that actually is the case. The only successful QB play we’ve had is from guys who have been developed elsewhere. Evidence being that none of the 3 guys on the roster were good enough to keep us from going and getting a transfer.

Why do you need to single out one person for credit? Isn't improvement reason enough to just enjoy the improvement?

Agree with both of the last 2 posts. I also believe Orgeron and Ensminger should get just as much credit for improvement as they would blame for failure.

How long have you been an LSU fan? Everybody knows that if the offense plays well that the players get the credit and if the offense doesn't meet expectations that it's the coaches fault.

If the offense develops and we win big.

Burrow or Myles will get credit for being good QB’s

Einsminger will get credit for implementing and effective offense

O will get credit for hiring Einsminger

LSU is up against it this year but O has a great opportunity to win big. If he wins against this schedule and gets this bumper recruiting class rolling he could begin to win some fans over.

I agree everyone gets credit.

Just easy to say the HC since he put all the pieces together and he is the most responsible for the success/failures of the team.

I see your thread got whacked with the quickness.

I agree with you though. 2 years is absolutely insane to punish a college athlete.

Should have just added a few games or something to the original penalty he was trying to avoid. It's still 17-20 year olds making mistakes who only have so much eligibility in college.

And I concur with your assessment. The deck is stacked against these Tigers and the world knows it. If this team performs to it's potential, then it will exceed expectations. If we get a playoff berth or an otherwise huge bowl bid, I will absolutely credit O. Won't care if it was truly a "plan", if it was some shite in a binder or if he just caught lighting in a bottle. Any way, I will credit O, and the players of course.
