The only way this works is if LSU gets a really high percentage of the gate if it's at the Dome which I don't believe Tulane was willing to agree to in the past. And LSU won't agree to a multiyear commitment to play in Yulman.

Even then Tulane doesn't make sense unless they move to a P4 conference. We have to play an additional P4 team and those are usually home and homes or neural sites. LSU isn't going to give up home games to go play in NOLA. Getting the home schedule to work in years with 5 SEC away games, Tulane, and a random P4 team would be a chore.

Its doable, but not worth it when most LSU fans dont see this as a rivalry.

I count arkansas as sec. They been here long enough. And were never apart of the big 12 like those other 4 teams.

Arkansas was never a real rivalry. Just as forced as Arkansas/Missouri. If we don't end up with Bama, I like the idea of playing Oklahoma. Two schools with a ton of tradition, perennial championship contenders, etc. You don't have that with Arkansas or Missouri.

Arkansas has a very long history with Texas and aTm. Old SWC rivals.

Texas and Oklahoma play last game. LSU and A&M play last game.

I’d rather have Ole Miss be permanently on Halloween weekend.

On LSUs end, there's no incentive to playing in a 30,000 seat stadium where their fans are excluded.

If OU isn't a permanent. It will be Arkansas during Thanksgiving week. Mizzou will play OU that week.

I wouldn’t mind creating a new game at the end of the year.

Options could be Miami, Rice, Tulane, Southern Miss, ULL, La Tech.
What a terrible way to end the year

OU and Mizzou are 100% going to be permanent rivals, just let them play at the end of the year

it gets tricky if OU plans to reignite Bedlam and play that at the end of the year, bc Arkansas-Mizzou will also be a rival (SEC trying to force it)

I think we don't get either OU or Arkansas as permanent and we just alternate between one or the other as the last game every year
Bedlam doesn't see all that likely to be resumed; OSU doesn't seem too interested, and, even if they weren't, that game wasn't usually played the last weekend of the season. However, by pairing Oklahoma and Missouri, the SEC would leave open the possibility that OU/OSU and Missouri/Kansas could be played that weekend.

I swear you people are touched in the head. This game will ALWAYS be played during the State Fair of Texas. ALWAYS. Its not changing.

Its one of the centerpieces for the fair. Way too much money at stake to move it around.

Well if its about Money(which most things are) then its probably going to be OU vs LSU because that game during an average college football year is probably going to bring a much higher amount of National TV audience then OU vs Missouri or LSU vs Arkansas

My only big wish is no faggies.

NIL allows them to always have a good roster, paying kids enough to forget they have to move to college station. And thus, making them technically dangerous.

But they also ALWAYS underperform. So beating them is never a signature win and losing to them is just annoying.

It’s a lose/lose scenario.

rather play somebody other than arky, that's such a forced "rivalry" and usually we barely show up

every time I have tried to explain to people that arkansas isnt a real rival, I get yelled at by a bunch of big ten or ark fans saying that it is and that we hate arkansas blah blah blah. they think because there is a trophy that its a a real deal rivalry.

there were some great games I guess but I never ever hated arkansas the way I did Ole miss, bama, auburn , or AM . shite florida is a bigger rival .

LSU would not rather have ark as a permanent opponent. Each year, that game generates the least amount of excitement out of all the conference games for Tiger fans

As an old retired NOLA guy with no honey do list, I read the greenie's web site for grins. These are run by old timers like me, those that are in some levels of the "know". They see the coming of the super conferences & know that they are probably on the outside looking in, with future home & homes with ULaLa, Southerns Miss & South Alabama.
To get a home & home with LSU with the hopes of making headlines, they would pay us to play them. 3 to 1 or even 4 to 1 is a given. They know that we would never play in that 25K band box...hell we would have to leave half the team home just to get into the visitors locker room (see Georgia Tech in the first game played there), to say nothing of just bring just the drum line instead of TGBFTL!
No...3 in BR w/1 in the Dome isn't a problem for Verge.
