Agreed. As much as I hate to say it, we haven't been a top tier program the past few years

Again, he's had 2 & 2/3 and he's winning at the same clip as the previous coach you fired .

That being said, I would fire him after the season we just had, win or lose. But I definitely wouldn't give him an extension until he wins more than 9.

one dumb statement for sure.

Yes, We should win, but our TWO CBs are sitting this one out and we are playing a 25-0 team. If our players were playing your comments could carry some weight.

Not an easy win, ask Auburn.

Clearly not the person you quoted. Who are you and why are you asking me questions?

As far as I'm concerned, Orgeron has already had three years. He was the head coach almost the entire season in '16, and that interim tag is meaningless. And nobody can say "well, you have to wait until he had his first recruiting class before you start the clock on him", because he was the recruiting coordinator, and thus largely responsible for a lot of that '16 freshman class.

Now, I'm not saying fire him right now, but I'd be lying if I said I had confidence in him. He didn't take over a struggling program, he took over a talented, but underachieving program. The leash should not be as long for him as it is for most coaches after they take over a team.

you do not get to add years just because it serves your narrative.

Read the rest of what I said, smart mouth. YOU do not get to SUBTRACT years to suit your narrative.

Surely our fanbase doesn't want to fire a coaching staff that kept the team ranked in the top 5 for several weeks of the year, winning several games that no one thought we would win, right?.....errrrr, never mind....

We already fired Les Miles three years ago, try to keep up

“ I will be calling for a major change”

8 losses in 2 years would certainly be a hard pill to swallow when we fired the prior coach after a 3 L yr , but I don’t think you can fire a coach after just two years when both yrs produce top 20 teams.

I think even with a win in the bowl game we should have concerns bout the plateau we seem to have reached since 2012 and the fact we are not becoming more competitive in the west in regard to a west title but less.

We know what O is.

Win or lose, this game should not change anyone’s opinion.

You realize if we continue firing coaches that win 9-10 games each year, no one worth a damn will come here as a HC with such a tight leash. We exceeded everyone's expectations this season with the current roster holes we have and with a daunting schedule. O is addressing needs in recruiting. Some of y'all have no grasp of reality.

This game shouldn’t have any impact on O being here next year. It also shouldn’t have any impact on the entire offensive staff being gone before next year

Yea losing to a non power 5 school with a back up qb in a major bowl would be embarrassing

Letting a bowl game determine whether or not you want change is stupid. We’ve had plenty meaningful games under this regime already

I don't get it, bro. Even the hard core O skeptics shouldn't be using this game as anything other than entertainment. Unless there's some huge coaching blunder, I don't see why this game would sway anyone's opinion one way or the other.
