it's a delicate situation but a decision must be made; I saw what too many qbs did to the aggies. I agree with the poster that said stick with Brennen and narcisse. I do admit not to viewing any practice therefore I am assuming Brennen is good enough to grasp our system and grow to be a damn good qB. what from I've seen he is gonna be a good one.

Why? They have another QB to compete with. Brennan will be a true sophomore and Narcisse a RS freshman. Patterson could potentially be here for just one season and then those two would be primed to take over as a junior and RS sophomore tandem.
The coach has to do what's best for the team, not refuse to sign a veteran, proven QB because two completely unproven underclassmen might lose the job to him.
Bring him in and everybody battle for the spot.

Also depends on where he is with regards to his surgery recovery. If he had to miss Spring practice, there is almost no way he could beat out those two coming in in Aug.

He couldn’t play for a whole year. So one of the other QBs would play all next year. With Patterson in the mix would mean some serious competition would be happening.

We need a QB.
QBs have shown zero loyalty and will not sit and mature as a players while competing for the job. For that reason I would participate in the off-season QB carousel if I was O, if you can help us, please come on down.
But Shea has to wear a number between 1-19. Period.
