Well of course a lot of them still are and some aren’t even in college yet. The millennial generation stretches into the early 2000s which would make some of them under 18 years old right now.

Team deserves it.

Basketball has always taken back seat to football and baseball for most LSU fans but this team deserves our support.
I’d be there if i didn’t have previous obligations.

If the game isn't close to being sold out by Friday, then LSU could do a ticket promotion for fans at the LSU gymnastics meet. All remaining tickets for $5 when you show gymnastics ticket.

"Always" is not true at all. Until around 1986 most people didn't even know LSU had a baseball team. However, the building across the street was routinely rocking.

Baseball has been a consistent winner for 30 years. That's why it has become so popular. Basketball, on the otherhand, has been mired in inconsistency .

Saturday is setting up once more as one of those "momentum building" games as far as home support goes. Unfortunately, LSU has lost so many of those over the last 10+ years.

5:00 is a really good time for a good casual fan crowd. It's late enough that it allows you to do whatever you need to do on a Saturday. But also early enough to allow you to go out/grab a bite to eat after (It should end around 7:00)

Just track down the girl from the LSU/UGA BB game a couple years ago and announce she's leading the student section.

Standing room only.

This is true. Millenial is not really a reference to a specific age group. It has become a way to describe a person with a certain set of values and work ethic (lack of). A mental situation if you will.

Eta: It's gentler, more PC way of calling somebody a dumbass, idiot, retard, etc.

Are you going?

Great if you are but I always think it’s commcal when people start threads dissing the b-ball crowd that they aren’t apart of.

Apparently Joe Alleva hates the "real fans" and they're too poor to afford $27 for tickets.

It’s basketball. Nobody really cares about basketball. It’s about as athletic as dancing.
it's ok if you don't like basketball, but that's the dumbest argument I've ever heard.

Basketball players are generally the best athletes on the planet.

Agree in toto. And there's no reason fans should be leaving early. This game will be a hot ticket IMHO.
