Gus to AU from the bottom of a dumpster fire to the NCG with less talent than LSU in one fricking year. It's a bit of a difference.

Not a big fan of LM but he didnt go 0-8 in the sec last year either. GM stepped in at Auburn and took that team to the bcsnc in his first year. Thats quite a accomplishment. So i dont know why any Auburn fan would be upset and it wasnt 21-0.

How has no one brought up the delay of game by FSU in the final seconds that could have cost them the TD and win?

Miles house would have been burned down for such a thing.

I think the Hat would have Mason kneel the ball on the 1 or 2 yard line on his last TD run, milk the clock down, use FSU's final 2 timeouts on DEF, and have 4 downs to get it in the endzone with 1:19 left on the clock. Case closed, Hat wins.

If LSU had gone from a losing record and a first year coach put them in the BCS title game and were less than a minute away from pulling off the win? Yeah, I imagine LSU fans would be disappointed, but optimistic for the future.

This. When was Chizik fired? About this time a year ago? So Gus had about 5-6 weeks to sign players and took an 0-8 team to within 1 play of the national championship game? I'd be disappointed but pretty damn pleased when the realistic goal in August would have been the Music City Bowl.

Actually the game was tied 34-34 and should have gone to overtime because in Alabama missed field goals are supposed to be added back into the score at the end to get the "the real score".

So is you by rules in Alabama, Auburn really didn't lose. They just missed a field goal.

Blowing a 21-3 lead, would the LSU fans have pitchforks in hand at Miles house when he returned to run him out of town?

Yes

Also, imagine this board's reaction if LSU took a delay penalty from the 5 yard line on the game winning drive line Jimbo and co. did.

Auburn was lucky to get into the game and then lucky to be in the game. 4 fumbles/muffs that they got back or runner was down by a split second last night. They had a horseshoe up their arse all year. Auburn fans should be happy for the incredible run.

Auburn was fortunate that their team beat Georgia. 2 losses removes them from a chance of an SEC title and a potential National Championship.

If the Iron Bowl goes into OT , who knows if Auburn pulls it out.
At any rate , the War Eagle could have easily suffered 3 losses this season.

The SEC West is gonna be a fight for seasons to come and Auburn will host LSU next year. It is going to be fun to watch.

If Mett was at QB and they had a 21-0 lead it would have been OVER...

If Jennings was qb it would have been FSU 21 LSU3. So whats your point...........

If LSU under Miles ever gets to the point that LSU has a season in which they lose all of the SEC games, does anybody think that Miles could bounce back from that, win the SEC and get to the NC game?

Why are you trying to start a fight? Miles embarrassed an entire state the last time we made the championship game. If LSU had been in that game the Miles reality that some see would be very different. There is nothing shameful about losing a game when you prepared and fought well as Auburn did last night. I would be disappointed that we lost but not angry at the coaches or kids if we were in Auburn's place last night.
