I have no doubt the team would improve under Wade, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested to see who else we would go after. I don’t know who that would be—I’m not paid to know that—but Verge is, and he hasn’t done anything to make me doubt him yet. That’s why I trust him and believe this is a lot more of a vetting process than just Wade or bust, as it should be.
