TCU will take 2/3 from OU/OSU/UT. They will end up with 9 or 10 wins. They will end up being a very solid win for the Tigers.

SE Louisiana - Win

Texas Tech - Win, Tech's offensive line isn't good and has no run game, plus a true freshman QB... TCU will eat them up.

SMU - Win

at Oklahoma - Toss Up, Trevor Knight did not impress me at all throwing the ball. If they have no passing game by the time this game comes around, TCU will win this one because of their run defense

Kansas - Win

at Oklahoma State - Tough game, but Oklahoma State's offense was no juggernaut against Mississippi State. With that being said, it is the toughest game on TCU's schedule and TCU will have to play really well to win.

Texas - I think TCU wins this one, they beat Texas last year with a worse team in Austin. Plus Texas got off to a really slow start against New Mexico State on Saturday.

West Virginia - Win

at Iowa State - Win, Iowa State will be horrible this year

at Kansas State - Win, they will also be bad this year.

Baylor - Win, TCU won this one last year by 28 and its at home.

I see 9-3 as a worst case scenario for TCU, 11-1 best case.

10-2 sounds about right, that would be them in the Top 15 and a quality LSU win.

If may have been called a neutral site, but I've
Your were not there, then you would not have noticed the entire game was announced one sided for sure. The announcer was clearly for TCU, and the monitors showed TCU commercials, fans and crap all night except for late in the 4th quarter. So to say neutral is way out of context. It was an away game.

NO! The numbers on our uniforms suck, and victories will not make the "font modification" pain go away

TCU will improve as well - they were very young last year. If they ran the table it wouldn't shock me. There are 3-4 swing games remaining on their schedule.

That's a pretty rough October. If they come out of that 2-2 or 3-1 they could win the conference.

VERY happy with that win! Obviously, some things to work on... but couldn't have asked for more against that D for an away game.

Hope TCU wins every game from here on out, don't think they will. But WVU looks like they suck, KSU flopped. UTx will be solid, OU will be less sold but good nonetheless. OkSU will beat them, TTU likely will (shoot out with Paschal in form?)

If they beat either OU or OSU on the road, there should be no complaints. Not that there should be any now, but people are hung up on final score alone.

TCU has almost no chance of winning out. They have a tough schedule and will probably lose 2 more games.

Oct. 5 - at Oklahoma*
Oct. 12 - Kansas*
Oct. 19 - at Oklahoma State*
Oct. 26 - Texas*
Nov. 2 - West Virginia*

That's a gauntlet.

TCU seems like a 9-3 team to me. Maybe 10-2 with some luck. It was a VERY quality win against a really sound team. TCU is who serious college football fans know they are.

I have not seen anyone unhappy with the win.

We did a lot of good things and some not so good things against pretty good opponent and Coach.

That said TCU as a program is still adjusting to having to play well every week to win rather than having to get up only a couple times a year like they did before they moved to B12.

If they win out this win looks awesome.

If they lose 1 or 2 more it's a good win.

If they lose 3 or more not so much.

But bottom line this isn't or shouldn't be about TCU, it should be about LSU and what we did.

The O was less predictable and the passing game more efficient (need to improve RZ tho)

The D was solid

Special Teams needs work on coverage.

It was a good first week, one we can build on and one the staff can use to point out what needs to improve.

TCU had 9 starters back from the #16 defense in the country last year, including their entire secondary. They are coached by defensive guru, Gary Patterson.

Mettenberger carved them up and we put 450 yards on them. Yes, I am happy.

The only two defenses that we will face that are better are Alabama and Florida all season. If LSU can do what we did to TCU to the other 9 teams on the schedule, we will have a great season. Then, it comes down to what we do against Florida and Alabama and by then, I like our chances.

I see TCU winning 7-8 games this year with a fairly stout schedule. It was a good win.
