I'm no Clark fan but this is more fake news. Didn't happen. If it did - show the proof.

I think everyone would do well to take a step back and relax.
Clark still supports LSU. He's definitely been harsh and unfair with some of his criticisms toward Coach O lately but nothing that can't be resolved among family IMO.

Coach O enthusiastically said He loved president trump, so uh, yeah, I think Coach is MAGA. He can be buds with John Bel too .

This may be a foreign concept to you, but people make mistakes. He said he was done and ready to move forward. What else would you like to hear from him?
Support LSU Football & stop bringing BS attacks out to the public.
Got a problem? Go talk to O and quit attention whoring on Social Media.

That's really classy by Ryan.
Publicly bashing the head coach and later saying he’s here to help isn’t classy. It’s the opposite.

It wasn't just Ryan Clark stirring shite... And now we're working to convince Jamar Chase to stay and play. Last night I would have said he was gone, but today it looks a little better. No idea how this plays out, but damage was done nonetheless.

Bennie Brazelle for sure was another. And he’s on staff.

Because of the Trump comments?

I’m sure he would not be talking down LSU if his son was there. And sure he is angry at O for not giving his son and scholly.

Just #7, or more players?
Posted on 8/29/20 at 4:29 pm to sicboy
Partyl, and also Because he let the players lead the March and do their own thing instead of taking the lead on all of it. He let the players speak their minds and he didn't give some big drawn out speeches to the media over everything. In some of their minds, O hasn't done enough and doesn't truly have the guys best interest at heart or have their backs. Its a load of complete horse shite. Ryan just needs to accept the fact his son wasn't good enough to be here and quit being butt hurt about it and trying his best to ruin everything he can at LSU.

What he's trying to do is extremely selfish and social justice is only a cloak for him personally; he's probably convinced himself otherwise.
He is actively trying to pit current and former LSU players (and staff) against the school. He is doing this in an activist role only.
Here's the trick of it, he will continue to do his activism, especially current players (and their families) to provoke the school into taking an action such as dissociation and/or banning him from campus and/or attempting to block contact with current players (which will not succeed).
When the school takes action, it will be because it is "racist" and "trying to silence him". And those who believe him will follow him into a boycott, with him as the "leader" of course.
If the school takes no action, then he continues his activism unabated until the players follow him into a boycott, with him as the "leader" of course.
The outcome sought by Clark is a boycott... with him as the "leader". Now that he has momentum and enough of a following, every path leads there now except for one. That one path, unlikely to unfold, is for other former players to step up and counter-activism to, at least at a minimum, muddy the situation enough where Clark isn't the "leader".
If Clark's motivation of being the "leader" is stymied, he goes away. He's not content to be a social justice warrior... he wants to be a social justice general. Take that away, he goes away.

We've had these conversations a lot at my church and work, and my feelings on it is this: if you're white, try not to be a know it all and tell people how they should feel about raicsm. Be there to listen. Bravo to Orgeron for letting his players take the lead.

Yeesh, what a mess. I guess the whole “this has brought our team closer” statement is in fact the opposite.

You are the biggest racist on this board. If someone presents facts that you don't want to hear, you call them racist. If a black person is leading the charge, you want proof of it. And if/when you got it, you would spin it.
Go ahead and get pissed, because I'm on to your shite.

Clark made a direct reference to O saying “we need football” when talking to Pence. Clark wanted him to use that public platform for another agenda (BLM) and not placing playing football as the priority.

People like Clark don't care. If they destroy college sports, who cares about the NFL?
Why do folks want to destroy the things that make them wealthy?
Does he really believe sports is necessary for happiness.

This is where I'm missing something. O gets paid to COACH FOOTBALL. Not to be involved in politics. He was doing his job.
Why would that make these guys want to drop out of school?
