Not counting the covid bullshite Coach Os time as HC was fun as hell.
So hell is fun?
Let me fix this for you…
“Not counting the .500 seasons, Coach O’s time was good.”
Brilliant insight, there. Simply brilliant…

Lol…how many players on the SEC title game roster were O’s?
And he didn’t exactly leave, lol.

Hard to look past him completely fricking over the program.
It’s really not. He gave us the greatest CFB season of all time. LSU has won 4 national titles in 100+ seasons. They’ve had way more .500 type seasons in that same time period. The 2019 season holds way more weight in the world of CFB and sports in general than him going .500 for a couple seasons instead of 7-3 & 9-4.

There is no question O will be admitted unless he pulls some sort of OJ move.

Are either of the Joe’s at LSU without O?
Bill Busch is the reason Burrow was at LSU. He was friends with Jimmy and coached him at Nebraska, he was the one that suggested we go after Burrow, he hosted the Burrows in BR along with Jorge Munoz, so yea, Burrow would’ve been at LSU either way. Aranda was a Les Miles hire and Busch was an Aranda hire.
Acting like he was the grand architect mastermind of 2019 is such a joke when he had nothing to do with 95% of the coaching staff, nothing to do with any of our key players’ recruiting (Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, most of the defense), and didn’t know shite about coaching on gamedays. He was along for the ride

people will also remember how immediately after winning that championship, he tied an anvil to the program and threw it into the river.

Saban left LSU in way better shape than he found it.
However, Saban also cost LSU at least 1 NC and likely several more by leaving and subsequently returning to bama!
Say what you will about the good that Saban did for LSU, but make no mistake...he ABSOLUTELY cost LSU more championships than he brought to us! It's a fact that people somehow let slide while sucking him off!
F Nick Saban!

But I’m grateful he was the captain of tGOAT team that he engineered.
You sure about that?

Of course it’s a HOF ceremony. The time to heckle O was his call in show (we gotta fishin hole for people like dat) or when he’s walking around Santa Rosa topless.

He got lazy and had two losing seasons, but in no way did he tank the program.
When Pellini did his job, and then left, the defense recovered quickly.

That’s the definition of tanking the program.

With a completely rebuilt roster.

How many losing seasons has LSU had in the last 25 years? How many times has LSU not played in a bowl game in the last 25 years?
He didn't tank the program due to a quality replacement hire (win, lose or draw you can't argue that Kelly is not a quality coach) and the wild west show that is the unfettered transfer process. Without it, there's no telling how long it would have taken LSU to recover from his last two seasons.
With Miles people constantly said a trained monkey could win at LSU. Orgeron did nothing to dispel that notion.
Saban laid the foundation for a decade plus of success at LSU. Regardless of what people felt about Miles towards the end he maintained and even elevated the brand of LSU.
Orgeron will always have 2019 on his legacy as a head coach, but 2018 and 2019 will also always be statistical outliers.

Right…I remember in Joe’s Heisman speech where he had tears rolling down his cheeks talking about Bill fricking Busch
This bullshite needs to stop. Joe himself has said he wouldn’t be at LSU if it wasn’t for O.

He also said to give that idiot a lifetime contract, so is what he said in his speech really all that important?

So we’re ignoring reality over a Heisman speech where Joe was clearly being classy and doing his son-of-a-coach PR thing? You’re an idiot.
O definitely didn’t stand in Burrow’s way and was his biggest cheerleader (as he should’ve been considering morons like you are still worshipping O over other people’s accomplishments) which I’m sure Burrow was genuinely appreciative of, but what did O actually do for Burrow during his Heisman run that can’t be directly traced back to someone else? Please list specifics

The HOF is in Natchitoches. O played at NSU. What in the hell you think they do, boo him.
Posted on 7/1/25 at 9:09 am to homemadeshine
Considering he coached the greatest TEAM in college football history. Absolutely. Imo

No doubt. He was a star at Norhtwestern State along with Bobby Hebert and is still a legend in Natchitoches. The return of the prodigal son will be epic. He has the same recordafter 64 games and the same number of national championships as Saban as LSU coach.

It always amazes me the slack assholes like you give Kelly while you shite on O who gave us Joe Burrow and the greatest team of all time. Some of you people really are just miserable twats.
