If O is canned early this season, how much money does LSU owe in buyout?

It'll be about $25M-$30M to get rid of the whole staff and start from scratch

We can get around the buyout with Title XI. If it comes to that.

First of all, he’s not getting fired before a gear lapses

Second, I bet they renegotiate the buy out

This thing could get ugly.

I have a feeling LSU is going to opt for a fire with cause and they'll drag whatever mud they have to.

No way LSU is going to be paying the full buyout. No way.

Whatever the amount is, he'll walk away with a lot less.

we are going to pay him this whole season no matter what, and whatever interim coach we have during that time will not be making much. No reason to wait around for his buyout to drop if it only drops by how much of his salary we pay him in his paychecks.
