Great take, cause the stock market is just like building a MBB program

We can win all our remaining home games, though I'm not saying it'll happen.

Arkansas, Texas, S Carolina -- they're all 0-3 like the Tigers. Who's to say they're worse?

Oklahoma -- average team both in football and basketball. I think we win that game.

Ole Miss: revenge, revenge, revenge

Aggies: they can be depended on to falter at least one game each season.

Tennessee: they lost by 30 (!) @ Florida!

Florida: that's our toughest remaining home game. But they're playing above and beyond their talent level now. Who's to say they don't have an off night in the PMAC? They very well could.

LSU basketball isn't as bad as it has played

not to defend him but he has had two guys that went on to be in the g league...

and i technically disagree because 9-9 has proven itself to be enough to make the NCAAT, if that's your definition of "competitive". will wade had 3 nba players and a g leaguer on his roster and went 9-9... you don't need multiple future NBA players to go 9-9 in the SEC. south carolina went 13-5 last year with no nba players.

if by "competitive" you mean competing for the SEC championship, that's a different story. you absolutely need NBA talent.

Too obvious.

depending on where we play them, the only teams we can't beat on the list are Auburn, Florida, and Tenn.

That list is home games and we could theoretically beat any of those teams, basketball is odd like that. If LSU plays their best game and Auburn, Florida, or Tennessee play their worst, LSU could win. Odds are against any of those.

If there is a potential bright spot it is this, Mile Williams has not played much yet, and Trey'Dez Green not at all. Maybe Trey'Dez adds some physicality and Williams adds some ball-handling skills to push the team over the top so they can hold on to leads and continue runs beyond just tying a game up and then falling back behind. But I feel like that is sort of wishcasting.

Very true, my man. But I also refer to crapping in one hand - and - wishing in the other.

When LSU MBB fans are relegated to just hope. Just hope we get a win or two. shite can happen.

And then told to shut up.

I considered referencing that but opted to go for wishcasting instead

I personally don’t think Woodward cares two cents worth for basketball and will just keep riding with him.

It's his job to care. And I don't think he's the Messiah. He doesn't run around lawlessly answering to no one. He answers to a higher power

I'm not going all ham today yet, my friend.

Did you see my post on how I categorize fans? You're the hero and truth of #2. And it's not bad thing. You know I try to optimistic.

I haven’t watched a ton, but am almost certain we won’t go winless. Too many games. We’ll have a few games we play over our heads while opponents have an off night. 2-16,3-13 is possible though.

LSU MBB is likely going to be a favorite in one remaining game this season.

That would be mid-Feb at home against USCe.

That's it.

We're likely going to be close to a double digit underdog against everyone else - outside of Arky in the PMAC this Tues, a game when Arky will be the favorite to beat us.

Texas' three losses all came against Top 10 teams and only one loss was by more than 5 points (Tenn, AU, A&M). S. Carolina lost to three ranked teams .(Miss St, Bama, AU). Same with Arkansas (Tenn, UF, Ole Miss). LSU lost to Vandy, Ole Miss, and Mizzou who went 0-18 in the SEC last year.

Not all 0-3 starts are the same.
