If we win next year, it will take the sting out of 1/9 but I will never forget.

Gotta take em one game at a time.

But the sting of 1/9/12 will be reduced significantly if we win it all.

Try again.

2007- BCS NC in New Orleans (tOSU/LSU)
2008- BCS NC in Miami (OU/Florida)
2009- BCS NC in Pasadena, Ca (TX/Alabama)
2010- BCS NC in Tempe, Az (Oregon/Auburn)

All the games listed here were for the previous year's season. They all took place after January 1st. For example, this year's BCS GC, for 2012, will actually take place in 2013 in Miami. I was referring to the football seasons.

Fun is what you make fun.

If LSU football is not "fun" for you, it's cause you don't make it fun. Take ownership for your own action and don't cop out by blaming others.

If you can't have "fun" while the team you say you support is having the most successful run in its history, then you simlpy are choosing not to have fun and that's fine...just stop blaming others for something that's your choice.

Holy shite Today is 3/28/2012, how many years have passed since 3/28/2008? According to you its 5.
No, according to him Miles did not wake up January 7th, 2008 and start working that morning to get his team into the championship game that night. Like any rational person, he sees reaching the championship game as a season accomplishment. Which, referring to kindergarten level counting skills, makes for a 5 season span in which the two Championship Game appearances occurred.

But just to play along with your ignorance, LSU played in a National Championship Game on January 9th, 2012; which other National Championship Game did our football team play in since January 9th, 2008?

Or maybe you're suggesting that Miles coached the CWS Championship Team of 2009?

Not the way you listed them. The "2007 BCS National Championship Game" was played in January 2007, but was not played in New Orleans and did not feature LSU and Ohio State. It was played in Tempe and featured Florida and Ohio State. Likewise, the "2008 BCS National Championship Game" was not in Miami between Oklahoma and Florida as you listed it, it was in New Orleans between LSU and Ohio State.

You've listed the seasons, not the years the game was actually played. And, for some reason, you did not list the 2011 season. So while your list does indeed only have four seasons, it also only has one appearance by LSU. Any way you slice it, it is two appearances in five years. And that's a hell of an accomplishment; there's no need to spin it by pretending it was four years.

Yes, how dare he lose the championship game for us.

Tell you what why don't you root for Bama. That way you can "make it" even more fun. For true LSU fans trying to make thinking about that game fun is like trying to make a root canal fun. You are either a sadistic dentist or a masochistic patient.

OK, I see your four years listed, but I only see LSU once in those four years. If you had listed a fifth year, the 2011 season, LSU would have been listed twice. Hence, twice in five years, not four.

How many BCS title games has LSU played in since 3/28/2008? I count one. Am I missing one? Now, if you go back further, to the FIFTH game back from now, I see a second LSU appearance. Hence, two appearances in five years, not four.

If you go by the year of the season, it's

2007-YES
2008-no
2009-no
2010-no
2011-YES

Note the number of years listed there. It's five.

If you go by the year in which the game was played, it goes like this...

2008-YES
2009-no
2010-no
2011-no
2012-YES

Again, note the number of years listed. It's five again.

Five years, not four.

I will never forgive nor forget that crap, which was totally LM fault. he quit, failed the team, LSU, and fans, and himself as a man. If he was CEO of my company, he would have been canned immediately. Heck, before you start I think mett can pass further than my grandmother, who I was calling to try to get some throws downfield because JJ and LM were not going to release a pass vertical. However, they are the kings of horizontal passing game!!!

Nothing personal sport, but I think your expertise is better utilized on the soccer board or the OT.
Since you seem to be the sensitive type, I assure you that I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. It was just an observation and I don't intend to permanently scar your psyche by my comment.
Thank you.

Yes, and I'm over the loss. Bama played better the whole game. We will handle our biz in 2012.

And with this little statement, whatever credibility you thought you had went out the window. You don't win the amount of games, CLM has, by being a bad coach. He is atop 10 coach. Period.

Being a great recruiter and having that kind of talent will get you pretty far. However, I think it is fairly obvious he meant he is a moron of a coach sometimes (not always). Everyone makes mistakes, but he takes it to another level now and again. Almost feels like a different Les.

Still, that's really good.

That's all I was trying to say.
