For the SEC Title - yes.
For the National Title - don't know yet.

Yes. A 12-1 SEC Championship Game winner will not be denied a shot at the MNC.

This. It means we lose to UF, beat Bama, Ole Miss and go 7-1 in the SEC, then win the SECCG.

We'd play for the title.

No we don't because Ole Miss lost to USCe.

95% sure we do though...

Texas, Cinci, and Iowa would have to go undefeated, and then we still might get in.

If the winner of the SECCG has 1 loss (as long as it's not to a stanford '07) they are in.

With all the other big names going down already, and the SEC winning the last 3 titles, you have to put them in.

USC would have to lose two more games...then we would still have to worry about them climbing back to the top

100% they would play. The SEC winner even with 1 loss will be in champ game...doesn't matter is USC has only 1 loss or UT, Cincy, Iowa are all undefeated. The computers and at least one other poll will put LSU in game.

OK, follow up question: what if LSU beats UF, but then loses to Bama and then wins out. Even still then?

if we lose by 20+ we might get the same treatment ole miss got from the pollsters

if we lose by a late TD or FG we stay in top 10
