I sure wish every other team could just arbitrarily change their schedule to their liking.

If only Les Miles could have a month to prepare for each game.

Is that grounds for a recount later?
One of the main reasons the presidents are against a playoff is because of extending the season. Yet with 12 game schedules and conference championship games and now the bcscg played a week later, they have already extended the season.

I would like to see extra bye weeks for teams. I think it's too much to ask the players to play 8+ consecutive games which is the case some times.

But, I think the answer to that is to fix the offense. If you have an infection in your foot you take antibiotics you don't chop your leg off.

I agree. But like I mentioned though, there have been may things that have been out of sorts. Like the guy that responded above you, 9-3 is 9-3, enjoy the wins. Well, last year was 7-5. We have an equal number of OOC rent a wins as we do SEC wins. Miles of course will have the opportunity to correct the issues, but some fans just prefer to fool themselves into thinking LSU is the same program it was in 2006 and 2007.

Miles would get a lot more leeway if LSU wasn't 3-5 in the SEC last season and played every game close this season except Tulane and Auburn. That includes Washington, ULL, LA Tech, Vandy, MSU. Then throw in the blowouts to UF and UGA last season and the 107th ranked offense this season and the mismanagement in the Ole Miss game... it's ends up being a lot to overcome.

Opposing SEC fans don't want Les to leave LSU.

LSU was leading every game going into the 4th quarter except the Florida game (down 10-3).

In how may games did LSU give up that lead at any point in the 4th quarter?

Since overall record is what matters, LSU should drop out of the SEC and just play 12 games against the likes of Tulane.

That way, LSU will be 10-2, 11-1 most seasons and won't have to worry about losing the SEC west by 3 games or 5 games every season.

We can point to our record and say, how can that be mediocre???

LSU's offense was 12th in the SEC (there are only 12 teams) prior to the Florida game.

Crowton Effect is full force now and it had little to do with Florida's very good defense.

Yes. A 12-1 SEC Championship Game winner will not be denied a shot at the MNC.

This. It means we lose to UF, beat Bama, Ole Miss and go 7-1 in the SEC, then win the SECCG.

We'd play for the title.

I guarantee you if we lose one game for the rest of the season, we don't get into the number two spot.

How about I guarantee if we have 1 loss and make the SECCG and win, we will be in the BCSCG?

Depends on where Tebow's penis is, Herbie is usually in very close proximity.

LSU hasn't looked impressive in any win so it gives them fuel to argue as they see fit.

USC losing to Washington, whom LSU beat, does weaken their argument considerably though.

If LSU takes care of business on the field it really doesn't matter though, does it?

When UGA was down 6-0, they drove down 60 yards on 18 plays for a TD.

Then down 12-7, they scored with 1:03 left to go up 13-12.
