If Les Miles was a car or truck, what make & model.....
Whatever he is, I see his left blinker going while driving 10 mph below the speed limit in the left lane of I-10.

He's from Michigan, so it would have to be one of the Big Three: Ford, Dodge, or Chevy.
He'd abhor the idea of the gov't or labor unions owning the company so it can't be a new gm or chrysler product, and the idea of a man-step goes against every fiber of his body, eliminating ford. So we're looking at an older model of one of the three.
An old jeep seems to fit at first (a little crazy to drive one and sometimes the valves clatter), but for the fact that it doesn't have a hard top. Les is never without his cap, so not a jeep.
A Ford Bronco is another possibility, but it just doesn't seem versatile enough.
But, a 1995 Chevy Suburban 4x4 with a 350 does fit. Of course it would have a subtle lift kit and come crazy stereo shite in it that noone knows about until he turns it on and scares the shite out of everyone. And of course, in 2001 there was some minor work on one of the head gaskets, but it wasn't a big deal and didn't affect the engine.
