Based on that information You probably also thought Brennan was the future.

So you made this thread to basically say you think Walker is a better quarterback than Daniels?

You haven't looked back on Kelly & Denbrock's history with QBs... They would rather drag their balls through razor blades than develop a modern passing attack. It's more likely Collins starts or a transfer.

I never said JD stinks. He is good.

I'm certain Walker will see open receivers better than Daniels and Walker will probably lean on Bech a lot due to the previous relationship they had in high school.

Howard hasn’t thrown a single pass in a game let alone a SEC game. There’s no way he starts over a QB who’s started 40 games even if he looks better in practice.

I could see him beating out Nuss and getting backup reps next year or if Daniels gets injured. Other than that. No way. I expect Howard to be the guy in ‘24.

JD can make all the throws, he just won’t throw into a tight window. I’m sure he’s awesome at practice like Howard.

If he could he would. He has a weak arm, and not very accurate on long throws.
He is late on most throws down field.

It will be interesting to see how BK maneuvers which ever way it goes.
I believe JD is going to start cuz BK really likes him, but if it is close I think he will be on a short leash.
JD is a practice warrior, he only latches up in games. So it will be hard to say even if you could watch practice if he has improved.
Game reps are the only way to know.
It’s BKs team and his call not mine…

The receiver has to be open before he throws, giving the defender time to recover and break up the reception.
If his ankle is not fully recovered before the game, it's going to be embarrassing.

The biggest improvement in QB play next year will not be from the person throwing the ball. It will be from the vastly improved OL

I liked Bech last year a lot but he was terrible this year. I know some of it was out of his control but when he did touch the ball he was just flat out bad and clearly got passed up by other WRs. I wouldn't be shocked if he's not here next year.

No QB would be better than JD for LSU next year, not even a Heisman caliber from the portal.

The line will be much better, but a majority of JD's sacks were from not pulling the trigger. The OL was worse in 2021 and Max was sacked 33 times in 12 games. This season in 12 games JD has been sacked 40 times. Is JD seeing the "mike" or the free blitzer? Does he find the hot route? Audible? Maybe he does, but I'm not sure.

I think we will see a Howard/Daniels 2QB system. Similar to the Tua/Hurts combo at Bama

You think that when Walker Howard becomes the starting quarterback that they are going to have Jack Bech line up at running back because they played together in high school? That sounds incredibly stupid.

Not nearly as stupid as your reading comprehension sounds based on your response.
