If Howard wins the starting QB position next season I can see Bech going off.

It would be like bringing back the band from STM.

But it wouldn't just be Bech going off. I envision full WR/TE/RB utilization.

This thread will trigger a lot of people

Daniels is definitely coming back after that rough stretch in November though, and he will start if healthy

That’s really incredible analysis and I commend you for your deep thought on the matter.

You think that when Walker Howard becomes the starting quarterback that they are going to have Jack Bech line up at running back because they played together in high school? That sounds incredibly stupid.

Proclaiming Daniels as next years starter already says there is no real competition.

While I agree that the chance of JD returning is higher than leaving, it is not certain that JD will return especially if he can see the competition behind him.

I just wonder if Howard is making the throws in practice that JD can't?

I would not AT ALL rule out Walker Howard winning the job and Jayden Daniels being used as a package player near the goal line to put the defense in conflict with quarterback runs. Walker can expand the offense so much with the vertical passing game and he will be behind a returning OL next year with critical SEC experience. The kid will have a year in the same offense and is extremely smart.

More throwing to open play makers and less running.

Well yeah. Almost any QB is going to run less than Daniels.

Don't see this happening. I think Bech will improve and be a great player for us, but if Daniels comes back he is 100% the starter and Howard is probably that guy in 2024.
