LSU literally had zero business losing to troy

Team did not look motivated and prepared to come out and take care of business

Coaching definitely cost LSU a minimum of two wins with ease this season, we finish 9-4, with proper coaching we are 11-2 . Only losses to MSU and Bama

I honestly don't think it would. Jimbo put all his eggs in one basket with Francois. I don't know how an offensive minded coach managed to get himself in that predicament.

Jury is still out on Herman. His team was all over the place this year. I'm going to wait and see what he does next year before I comment on him.

Has either one of those had a fist fight with a coordinator?

I think Jimbo almost did with a fan at FSU...

You're correct about the record of success for them but I don't think anyone would be happy with Jimbo going 9-4 with one loss to Troy

the "Saban lost to UAB" defense would be a comparison some could stomach.
Only thing, O shows no record past or present trend to suggest he is a Saban level coach, or ever will be. Maybe not even a Miles level coach (and I mean Miles-level since 1/9/12).

What if Jimbo had a losing season like he did at FSU this year?

And you can’t count the rescheduled rent a win to get them “bowl eligible”

You can't compare Herman to O. I was on the Herman bandwagon but would have been happy with Jimbo or half a dozen other coaches. Sometimes you have to take a chance. When O it was announced that O was hired at head coach it felt like I had been kicked in the nuts, punched in the stomach while watching my dog get hit by a car.

Think of it as golfing and you have a long shot with a water hazard to the green. Do you use a wood and go for the green or use an iron and lay up playing it safe? LSU chose to use a putter from the Tee.

Probably true. There’s something about O’s accent that makes people think he’s stupid

Jimbo won 6 games this season and just got paid a 10 year 75 million dollar deal. Any coach would not catch the shite O has caught for 9-4 with a loss to a sunbelt team; however, he does deserve the shite he is getting for the state of the program currently

Competence and previous success shouldn't result in the same results. GTFO here

nailed it. I gladly bought tickets last night to see the preseason last place team in the conference play kentucky, because I already know Will goat Wade is going to lead us to the promised land. O is going to lead us to shreveport

Don't dismiss the behind the scenes lurking of all in the "pro Miles" camp and in the "not Coach O" camp.
The source of the "unusually" hostile rhetoric.

These people would prefer to take LSU down just so they are proven correct.

I have been around LSU for a long time ... most of you were not even alive and I have disliked quite a few coaches, but as an LSU fan, I have never, would never, openly demonstrate such constant hatred for any LSU coach. Weakening an LSU coach, weakens LSU... this is a FACT like it or not.

and yes, some commentators fall in those categories as well.

start paying attention at the Chicago, CA and fans from other places posting here in a negative way.

By this logic you should be REALLY excited that a man who has not been a head coach did as well as experienced coaches. You're not making sense.

Yea, proven winners over a coach we aren’t sure about and his best year of coaching ever has a loss to Troy and a 30 point waxing from Cow State while he has two of the best coordinators in college football and I’m not making any sense? Get over yourself. You can’t see the forest for the trees.
