If Herman or Jimbo had just had the exact same season, the vibe would be way better

Those coaches project competence and have a history of success as a head coach to point to. Coach O has neither of those things hence the lack of faith. It really shouldn't be that hard to understand.

They have actually been successful head coaches.

O has not.

Fair

Has either one of those had a fist fight with a coordinator?

They don't care enough to win

Losing to a sunbelt team and only going 9-4 with a schedule that clearly warrants atleast going 11-2 will getting anyone’s seat warm.

Of course it would.

These idiots were chomping at bit to find something to hate O for , couldn't really do it with recruiting so all of a sudden these kids are the biggest matt Canada fans.
I'd bet money some of these Pos "fans" cheered when ND scored last .... Boom, now we can really rip on O!

Sad sad bunch of losers.

The fanbase would be more forgiving as they would see a more long-term picture with less stress about current stability. With Orgeron we are more worried about holding it together and when it will fall apart. We see teams like Tennessee and even Florida and hope we are not headed down their path.

Looking back at the teams we played, this was not a hard schedule.

Which means there's a bias that doesn't belong.

Alleva and Orgeron have not done well reassuring the fanbase that we have a stable environment.

So coaches with worse records than Orgeron had this season have a history of success? I understand the argument with jimbo, bc he has won a natty, but he also shite the bed at fsu this season. As for herman, wtf has he done to warrant him as being a head coach with a history of success? Some of you just can't stand orgeron, even though he had a pretty good season this year considering everything this team had to overcome. It's really laughable now and shows that some just don't want o to succeed no matter what. To the point that you say if herman or jimbo had the same exact team with the same record, the outlook would be better for next season. Lol, what a joke.

No. If those guys are so good, this record should be a disaster. If O is so bad, this record should result in rejoicing. Dunning-Kruger... Look it up.

I think this is true. A warm seat, and some uncertainty. But the "Saban lost to UAB" defense would be a comparison some could stomach.

Plus, they would clearly be installing a system, O isn't. People are more forgiving when someone is expected to rebuild and can articulate the hows and whys of what they do.

Really, it's just the difference between competent leadership and a lack of it.

Look no further than Will Wade, he instills confidence in the fan base. People can be patient if they see a vision for the program and a process building to something

The O regime appears to be one of chaos and dysfunction
