If Brennan is indeed out for the season, would you fault Terrace Marshall for opting out?

I certainly wouldn’t, it would be disappointing we didn’t get to see more greatness and broken receiving records. But I think most of us would understand the move and wish him well. What a crappy year/season!

yes; that's called quitting on your team this late.

He needs to show he can stay healthy a full year. I think he’ll keep playing for that reason.

Yes I would fault him. The time to opt-out was before the season started.

Opting out isn’t some new option only allowed this year. Quitting on your team has always been an option, it just became ‘acceptable’ under the guise of Covid this year. Not only would that be a huge F you to the his team, program, and LSU community. It would also be a red flag for GM’s. In short TM6 is a great dude and has never quit before.

If he wants to lock up a 1st round pick, he will keep playing.

Terrace doesn't seem to be the type of guy to quit mid season.

I fault everybody who chose to opt out why would I treat Terrace any different?

If I was an NFL coach or GM I might not lower my evaluation if he did, but if he stayed and and played all out for his team and coaches it would speak volumes about his character and leadership. Marshall does not need to prove any more on the field, better stats won't move him up the draft board. Intangibles just might do so.

He broke his foot last year it isn’t like he gets nagging hamstring injuries. He isn’t going to risk injury to prove he won’t get injured.
He isn’t opting out.

Who is a saying he’s out for the season

You are a d!ck for even bringing it up

It wouldn’t be unforgivable, but I want to see TM exhibit the “one team, one heartbeat” motto and help out his freshman QBs.
Yeah he’s gonna make his money, but his presence on the field could also help them make theirs.

If you quit mid season, you will fall in the draft.

Gotta be the dude! Gotta sure up the jobs and show they he can still get open and get the ball regardless. He can make a fresh QB look good.
