Guarantee would have at least five more wins if not more

Yorkes errors and terrible offense has killed many a game

3 minimum and this is just a fielding aspect
If you put his bat in the line up and just say he does half of what he is doing now he still is almost a 100 points ahead of Yorke.

Disagree. Braun was playing quite a bit early as well. Had a major slump midway while Yorke was also playing. Maybe some affect but not nearly that drastic.

LSU has the worst era in the SEC and you think the reason we lost so many games is because we had the wrong player at first base??

Yorke hasn’t started since the Sunday of the Tennessee series in SEC series . Since then the pitching staff has gave up runs of
10
6
12
8
10
7
5
10
9
13 in those loses. 1 player is not making a difference when your pitching staff is giving up 9 runs a game.

Which 5 games do you think Braun makes the difference in?

I don't want Yorke playing over Braun, but please give me just 3 or 4 of these games where this happened.

We may have won 2 more games. Maybe 1 more SEC game. At this point just glad we are prioritizing freshman play.

Braun was barely getting any playing time early on in SEC play.

This equates to only 1 more hit in every 10 at bats. Don’t act like this turns around every game. The timing of the that extra hit would also need to be correct for any benefit to actual occur.

And he’s a freshman who could have grown organically and got better as season went on so it’s hard to really chart what impact he would have had. Yorke and Dardar are seniors who just are what they are.

I am not buying that.

Our pitching staff struggled against the cup cakes early on and for the most part, our hitters have not done well in the mid week games.

Braun has been in and out of the lineup all season and he has also made freshman mistakes.

Dude, they just finally got a win without Yorke. It too a month. Maybe Stanfield was the issue?

I suspect the turnaround was due to maturing of the youth and their adaptation to college baseball.
Braun, and other new players, took some time to learn how to compete at this level.

Pitching is and has been the issue with this team.

We’ve started winning because we are playing a bad team. I’m glad our young guys are playing, but I’m not ready to think we are back. USC has 7 conference wins with 3 of those coming against Missouri who is 4-19.
