My goodness the baseball talent in the state of Georgia, and the closeness to Florida.

I'm not arguing anything. The SEC had a fair shot to take over Omaha. I think the conference was overrated. I had 4 getting in - Arkansas, Vandy, Miss St, Tennessee. I thought Florida would get out of their own regional but lose to Texas. I thought USCe would be runner up to Virginia. Otherwise, it went down just as expected for SEC teams. Everybody throws 95 now and hits tanks.

All I'm saying is that Bianco won't be the bad hire you guys think he would be. Are their better coaches ? Sure, can we get them ? Corbin won't be it, and no O'Sullivan either. Know the Louisville coach is mentioned, how many Natty's does he have ?

He has way more Omaha appearances than Bianco.

I commend your optimism, I really do…but if one of the arguments for Bianco is “he won’t be as bad as y’all think”….is it really a surprise that people are against the hire?

Can LSU match Ole Miss’ facilities?

I don't think that has any bearing on whether or not Bianco would leave there. It's just another reason I'd hate to see him leave there.

I’m showing others that he’s not overachieving at little old Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has put money and resources into baseball. They are a top 15 program. The results on the field are lacking the strong finish.

A huge question would be, who does SW go after if none of these work out?

Ole Miss has been "playing for Omaha" since he's been there. They've made it once. That's absolutely pitiful.

They walk into Omaha this year as one of the top 2-3 favorites if Hoglund doesn’t get hurt

Last year they started 19-1 or something crazy. They were the best team in the country when the season was cancelled.

I mean y’all are acting like we’re talking about UNO

Ole Miss will go out and pay over market for a good coach to win

We’re approaching our search like who gets the honor of being our coach

Bianco is the Skip fix. It would be a stupid, unenthusiastic, lazy, good ole boy hire.

Woodward should have his man card revoked for being Skip's lap bitch.

how about the other 17 years?

They were 43-19 in 2016 and went 2 and Q in their own regional. He has underachieved even by OM standards

We've won one Natty since 2001...seems it's difficult.

Then he isn't the guy if he can't overcome one key injury. Hell, LSU nearly overcame losing their stud pitcher and young arse team with several auto-outs in the lineup.

Last year. He would still find a way to blow it in postseason.

We are acting like a dude who has 1 fricking Omaha trip in 20 fricking years, Lester. Let that sink in. Spare me how hard the SEC is. He isn't playing the SEC when he is bounced.

He wouldn't even be considered if he didn't have ties.

His teams choke in postseason. They tense up and are a reflection of his, "don't lose it" attitude.
