There are alot of attorneys on this board. Listen to them. Its not a rear end collision auto accident, obvious case.
There is a greater chance of me being a astronaut than you being a attorney.

Lol, haha, oh Im definitely an attorney. You are definitely not an astronaut.
This thread went 3 pages before I brought up what an “at will” employee is versus contractual. Its because I know what Im talking about.
Please folks damning WW, please shut up already.

No your a fukin idiot. LSU did the right thing. Wade is on tape trying to get an offer to Smart and your saying LSU was wrong for suspending Wade? Got dam where do yall people fukin come from?

No one said he couldnt be suspended thats not the argument. He shouldnt be suspended though, because he is obviously under federal subpoena re: the information subject to the meeting. He cant go around talking about it dude. Cmon, if your attorney for 30 years maybe retire. Lol.
This is far from over. WW has rights just like LSU. If LSU thought they could fire him they would have already. What will happen from all of this is highly questionable, and anyone who thinks what we know so means WW is going down in flames is COMPLETELY clueless.

I find this statement to be fascinating .
Every situation is unique and I don’t know know if any good leader that doesn’t look at every employee / personnel issue as unique and would not be able to say that they without a doubt soul tweminate someone 100 percent of the time.

Grammar aside— (1) he is not under federal subpoena; and (2) tell me your legal theory that supports the statement that WW shouldn’t be suspended under your wrongly stated facts.
ETA—I’ve read 4 or 5 of your posts— anyone that says, “dude” as much as you, is definitely not a lawyer.

Well you an idiot as well. No contract would ever be approved by Wade's attorney's which elevates LSU over his legal rights as a Federal subpoenaed witness. I don't need a copy of his contract to know this just like I don't need someone to tell me fire is hot.
Nimrod.

Well according to every article written Will Wade IS under Federal subpoena.
Google it yourself.

Says the guy who refuses to read the contract. If you did read it, you learn how wrong you are.

I assumed that part to be true when I asked for the legal theory. If you have one, I’m all ears.

Congrats on your low level management gig.

Advocate article on CWW's contract
"The contract does not include a buyout. Wade, 34, would owe the school his remaining salary if he were to leave for another job, and the school would owe him the entire amount if he were to be fired."
Article says nothing about fired for cause. Looks like a standoff to me.

This whole situation is making me feel awful for Will Wade.
I am hoping so badly they reinstate him, but I recognize that's nearly impossible with Alleva.
LSU should have more understanding and respect right now.
This OP is a gigantic goof who can't begin to relate to the situation. He can talk a big game, but this level of employment is far beyond his pay grade.

He is actually under the threat of a subpoena. He has not been served. If you’re (not “your” like you have consistently used) an attorney, you know the difference.
Posted on 3/17/19 at 5:33 pm to Likeadog
And you’d be sued and likely cripple you’re own company.

That would apply if he were fired for underperforming—ie a bad record. It does not apply if he is fired for a breach— like failing to “fully cooperate with an LSU or NCAA investigation.”
