Agreed, except contract says possible LSU OR NCAA investigation. So, even if just an LSU investigation, he is required to fully cooperate.

Please, Of course, it will. As LSU becomes aware of more (damning) info about WW, they are expected to act...and that's what they did. LSU is working hard not to fall under the "lack of institutional control" edict. All schools are expected to police themselves in all of these matters and when they don't, look out.

No he is not.. At no point is anyone at anytime required to surrender their rights...
If the FBI and wiretaps were not in play then it would be a different conversation, but they are and it is what it is...
by the way... if you fire someone for "just cause" and ends up there is no wrong doing involved.. Then you are probably going to find yourself in a lawsuit...

Well..... if there is an FBI investigation going on and you have to appear in court to testify that could change things. Wade should be under a witness protection program the way all this shite has transpired. I hope Wade is found to be an informant and all the clowns out there get their just due. However, I will add that LSU should have just let Wade coach in the tournament. There is no reason for him not to coach until after the FBI investigation is done and the NCAA decides to act. This is comical in some respects. The fact that he is only "suspended" is crazy. You either let the guy coach or fire him. Anything else is ridiculous. WTF!

If you read his contract... then, you’d know he is required to fully cooperate. He is not giving up rights. He is not under criminal investigation. Sure, he has a choice to not speak to LSU and LSU has a choice to suspend him under the direct terms of his contract. If he thought LSU were legally wrong, he would have filed for a preliminary injunction to prevent/lift his suspension.
