Yes. And that pick @ Vandy wasn’t his fault.

Look at the Completion % of quarterbacks with a similar number of attempts. It's special.

Looking at that chart you realize that it's Joe, then Tua and then a huge gap down, at least for P5 QBs.

I guess, Ehlinger, Purdy, Herbert, Eason etc., guys in the mid/upper 60s completion % and 1600 plus yards are the next tier.

Abraham (USM) is absolutely on fire for a smaller conference QB.

Love the new offense, and it’s years past due.

But much of Brady’s success is due to #9, who ain’t here next year.

#9 for LSU is probably more critical than #9 for the Saints! The Saints without there 9 is not the Saints. LSU May be ok with Brennan, but who here would refuse another year of eligibility for Joe?

Brennan has a much better arm than Burrow. It's Burrow who can't make all the throws Brennan can make. Burrow's advantages appear to be in leadership and decision making.

Joe is a fifth year senior who’s dad is a football coach. He’s athletic and tough. Being his understudy will make Myles better. I have a good feeling that the next few years are covered pretty well as long as Myles can take control of the game while having the team support him. He has the tools to match Joe but can Myles prove himself as a leader? We will see

idk if brennan wins the Texas game. it’s kind of a silly discussion, Brennan is 2 years younger. I think Brennan can be this good in 2 years for sure

I don't need to break down what Brennan has been through to knowing fans. He's endured a lot (3 OC's) and stayed in. When his card is up I'll be his biggest fan.

I think brennan will do fine but it's not fair to compare him to anyone else...especially with the kinda of season that Joe is having this year...
Who will be our qb after brennan graduates...

If JB doesn’t come to LSU I think MB would have started last year. He would have gained experience and this year he would be fine.

Just needs to grasp RPO and the rest of the offense better.

What makes you say this?

How many practices have you seen?

You people are idiots. None of you have seen any practices, none of you have any coaching experience and you make all of these pronouncements.

Jesus are you people that desperate for some recognition?

Guys, it’s not a Joe Brady offense. It’s a Joe Burrow offense. Everyone on staff has said time and time again they put things in the offense that Joe Burrow excelled at, they tailored it to suit him. After everything the staff has told us becoming evident and true regarding the offense, it’s obviously true.

That being the case, Brennan will not be running this offense next year. So long as the staff remains intact, it will be a different offense suited to his strengths. Easier reads and less RPO. Stronger focus on the running game. I’ll tell you this, I’ve seen enough from Brennan to have some excitement, especially with who’ll be protecting him and who’ll be catching his passes, holy shite.

would we have the same record? If Joe Burrow didn't exist or chose a different school, could we still be close to top dog. I think we would still be undefeated but not feared like we are now.

I think Brennan’s first year will be similar to Joe’s. He’ll put up decent numbers but need some time to grow as a starter. Hopefully by the end of the season, we really start to see his potential, like we did last year with Joe.

Brennan needs to get tougher and quit looking like a little bitch.

You inadvertently touched on an overlooked point. Compare Burrow this year vs. Burrow last year. Brennan will be a fourth-year junior next year, the same as Burrow was last year. But if Brennan is as good next year as Burrow was last year, the children on this board will want him lynched. It takes time and experience to be as good as Burrow has been.

What if Brennan turns out to be, saaayyy...Aaron Rodgers as in GB (Farve>>>Rodgers) Rodgers sat behind Farve forever, OMG! Either way, we're definitely trending way way up.

Agree with Brennan won’t be running the same offense next year. The coaches will tailor the plays to his strengths like they did for Burreaux.
What Brennan needs to do off-season is to work with his receivers like Joe did this year. Get the timing routes down. Get on the same page. Show leadership.
