Idea on CWW from way out in left field....

Totally different perspective on why it appears that Coach Will Wade is being targeted.
LSU won several games this year that were "unexpected" wins...especially the UK and UT win.
LOTs of big time money was bet and LOST due to LSU winning those games. UK beating LSU at Rupp...that's a sure thing bet...correct.. So the big boys are pissed and put the word out... crush that punk coach that just cost us millions.......

It's more likely that the old guard coaches don't like a guy that didn't play college basketball and didn't put in a lot of time as an assistant having this much success this quickly.
He upset the old boys club. It's why guys like Vitale and Jimmy Dykes hate him. Same with Seth Greenburg.

Wade and LSU are targets because it creates more publicity for the media. They aren’t going to target a program that hasn’t gone 26-5 and won a conference championship.

I don't think Wade was a target. I think Dawkins was the target and unfortunately Dawkins had calls with Wade in which Wade shared too much info...

This thing is 2 years old. Players & coaches have been suspended, and assistant coaches arrested dating back to 2017
Wade is being talked about because he is the only one being uncovered right now.

They're just reporting as the dominoes fall. There will be much more to come. And if the media chooses to leave some schools out, the NCAA still has an investigation to do.
