You learn as you get older to not take everything at face value. There is more to the story than saint Canada wanting to be back next year and awful coach O not swallowing his pride and allowing him back.

Canada is talking for his next job.

This is what I don't get. You guys are all for the bs from the coaches now, but one big proponent of liking O, was he told it like it was.

He wasn't going to sit there and talk in circles and bullshite the fans like the last guy. Not be a "liar".

Except that has happened from day 1 of his interim job. A bunch of rah rah coach speak and bullshite.

What needs to stop is our fans blindly mistrusting him for every tough decision, when most of his decisions have been positive for LSU. Not every decision will end up a golden one but what's important is that they respond positively.

I disagree. Trust and respect are things that have to be earned.

His biggest decision by far was a failure. That can't simply be overlooked. Those Bama papers write glowingly about Saban because he's earned their praise. If Orgeron were in Tuscaloosa right now they'd probably have a hit out on him.

Can it be coach O that goes? I mean, what's he even bring to the table? Honestly?

I don't follow this sort of stuff that closely. Why are you siding with Canada?

You know what I find interesting?

A year ago, all of these same guys were saying how different Orgeron was, that he's not going to be like the typical coach that meddles, oversteps his limitations. Not our guy, he's learned to let his coaches coach. I bet anything we should bump threads from all of these people parroting the same thing.

Today, the narrative is about framing O as a typical coach. Now it's "every coach does that, what'd you expect?"

I just want to know what's his appeal? We don't have a coach that is particularly knowledgable (relative to other coaches, not me) about either side of the football, he insists on meddling anyway, he's not pulling top 5 classes. What edge does he provide LSU with over the competition?

Wait until this problem crops up again with O having issues with another one of his coaches/staff. I wonder what the excuse will be next time? I seriously doubt that Canada is the villain the O supporters are making him out to be. Just from the arrogant way Orgeron handles his pressers, it tells me he has a huge ego.

1. Look at his stops. He spent extended time at multiple schools
2. If there was a character issue, O should have indentifed that in the hiring process. I mean, if it’s as glaring as you say.

Yes, I can happily play it. You’re incorrect.

Yes because that will be the second time ever an assistant coach was relieved of duties or fired.
