B. Give him a ridiculous buyout.
How was it ridiculous?

Good god you are stupid. He has been to 7 places in 9 years...and you are concerned with uprooting him. Please tell me you are 12.

Because no one else was competing for his services, and he likely would've taken the job without one anyway.

If you are the HC and can't work with the guy, you just can't work with the guy. Cut bait and find someone who is good that you can work with, who will also with the rest of the staff.
Some of you want to tie O's hands behind him and then blame him when things go wrong. He is ultimately responsible for the success of the program as HC so he gets to make those calls.
Some of this behavior reminds me of the snowflakes trying to keep Trump from functioning as President.
If things don't work out there will be a change. If things do work out, many of us will celebrate.
Simple as that.

Ya the buyout is quite standard & will not keep them
from firing O should that become justified

Based on that logic why did Miles have a buyout?

It amazes me how many of our posters know so much about O and his career at Ole Miss.
What’s there to know? His 10 win total over three years is embarrassing and he’s publicly stated his biggest fault was micromanaging his assistants.

You can't reason with kids. Most haven't even held a real job yet. They'll grow up one day.

Miles had actually gotten offers, or at least his agent led Alleva to believe he had offers.
Either that, or Alleva's an idiot, which I'm perfectly ok with saying. Hiring Orgeron would be consistent with that conclusion.
No one was ever looking to hire Orgeron away, ever.

You have no fricking clue what has went on behind the scenes at Lsu..none. you are just an emotional little bitch.

Why do you call anyone who disagrees with you a kid?

Life is too short man. Get an education. Get a real career. A paid troll might be cool for a while, but Jesus man...you spend 12 waking hours a day wallowing in misery. That can't be good.

Afraid you're right. Most of them simply have not lived enough life yet to understand how things actually work. They think they do, but they don't.

No one is fooled by your projection.

Not about disagreeing. About emotional instability. I HOPE they are kids. It at least gives them an excuse for ignorance. Sadly, I know many are 50 year old men that never grew up.

Hell. I thought I knew it all too when I was in my early 20s. Couldn't tell me a thing. Life has a funny way of fixing that.

This is sort of silly. Lots of coaches have been tons of places early on in their career
Even gold standard Saban was at like 5 places in like 6 years early on..
Canada left Pitt for a massive pay increase just like Aranda.

My projection is a top 10-12 final ranking, the best since 2011. I know you are excited about the game and really pulling hard for Lsu. Lmao. Jk
