No, not at all. But a 20-10 record in league play will be hard to get with this pitching staff.

Way too high. If you said expected to win every series, you may be right. I was hoping for that but not expecting it.

My only gripe is sitting on Casan Evans yesterday
Now he gets to pitch with nothing on line

It was always going to be hard to take two. Problem is you made poor decisions that led to today.

If LSU loses today, the sec record will be 4-2. Still on the pace of 20-10.

Just hope this season will not flounder like last year. I make no judgements because I don’t know the talent or potential for this year’s team. I would like to see this team host a Regional this year though. I have no idea if it will happen.

Was thinking 17-20 wins in SEC play. I think that’s where most people were.

I’d say this post is fricking stupid. We only had to use 2 pitchers on Friday then proceeded to give up 11 runs and are now down 5-0.

You really think this is a championship pitching staff?

Dude.. this will probably go down as one of the more lackluster hitting teams when seasons over - you just get the sense that this team under Jay is not SEC tough. Not looking great so far..

I said they would be happy with 16-14 b/c the league is so damn tough. I don't see anything that changes that. This is the first time they have been under pressure for 3 straight games, it was bound to happen. This won't be the last losing series, but others will step up and they will surprise you along the way. Baseball is a tough game and it only matters how you are playing in May. The cupcake schedule gave them ROOM for error. Although SOS is horrible right now it will improve throughout conference play.
