you clearly didn’t watch Nuss this year if you think that

I think OU"s pass rush would destroy Nuss. Even when healthy, Nuss has never been good at getting out of the pocket or extending plays against a pass rush. He either throws it up for grabs or takes a very long sack.

MVB probably won't fare a whole lot better, but he does take off and run more than Nuss and he gets out of the pocket more. Also, Nuss is trying to make the NFL and MVB doesn't have to worry about getting injured as much.

I believe Nuss has taken himself out. Injured or not, he isn’t risking injury and working on the next phase of his career: being an undrafted free agent.

I think he is done, but MVB also isn't the answer, even though his skillset is better with our horrible O Line. MVB is just a much worser passer

Agreed. I think Nuss has thrown in the towel. I don’t see him making an NFL roster either. I hope he was smart with his NIL money. Has Weeks tossed in the towel as well?

This.

I'd laugh in Coach's face if he told me to go in behind that line against Oklahoma. Nuss might actually want to try out with an NFL team next spring.

Nuss is done. He’s talked it over with the staff and his family and sitting to heal and prepare for the combine and pro day is what he needs to do.

I wasn't talking about the grammar, I was talking about the he had so much confidence Nussmeier would hit an open receiver...

With the porous line I wouldn’t crush his morale any further or risk injury.
I’d bet he’s done and he’s accepted it.

Delane with the fake abdominal injury now to I see

If anyone deserves to opt out, it’s Delane. Haulcy would be the other one. FWIW I don’t think Delane is faking.

You think a pass to Sharp is “safe”? No play that he’s involved in is safe. It’s astounding how bad he is at football.

Nuss is being told to sit out the rest of the games for self preservation. If it gets hurt it could cost him $$$$.

He wouldn't even pull a redshirt to help us in our bowl game in 2021. You think he is interested in playing OU ?
