So your family isn't giving up their season tickets, you just quit paying your dad for his season tickets?

Sounds like it has more to do with you not having the disposable income to attend the games now that you are an adult. Is this what this place has come to? Complaining about how expensive things are when you grow up?

If it's so cheap, why don't you buy them off him right now...TAF fees and all.

That's why I said AVERAGE

If you want average, study it and get back to us. I was giving you an example.

Typical NFL games are 3 hours and 15 minutes and college games are around 3.5 hours to 3 hours and 45 minutes. Halftime in the NFL is 8 minutes shorter than in college, so really a college game is about 22 minutes longer than an NFL game I would say. Is that 22 minutes really chapping your arse??

Actually it does when I'm sitting in a stadium that has run out of water and ice.

Why don't you call Earthworm cheap again, or maybe a herp derp is in order.

Ok, cool. I'll talk to his dad about chipping in for the season tickets.

People have and will quit going to games, but those same people or others will still buy the tickets, so none of this matters.

The TAF fees are high. When I try to sell my tix, my fellow Tiger Fans turn into Democrats and no longer want to pay what I have paid for the tickets in return. In fact, you get berated if you dare bring up TAF fees. SOMEONE has to pay them for the tickets to be available.

You made the commitment. You get the write-off. You want to sell me the ticket? Cool - sell me the ticket. Not a piece of your tax deductible donation.

Good maybe you will free up some space for the waitlist people who actually want to go to the game and stay till the end!!!

not really. My Saints season tix are MUCH cheaper than my LSU tix. Less people tailgate at saints games like they do at LSU games so that saves a ton of money. Now yes, the concessions are ridiculous just like LSU. My parking for the saints is cheaper than LSU as well.

My Saints tickets are better seats and I pay A LOT less for the Saints tickets when you consider the TAF fees.

So, if he doesn't itemize and gets no benefit from the TAF fees then you agree that you should pay the TAF portion as well, correct?

Look, the TAF fee is nothing more than part of the ticket price. If the government didn't allow for a deduction for 80% of the "donation," then they would just add it to the ticket price. It's just a scam.

The only way your season tickets for the Saints are cheaper than LSU period, is if you tickets like up in the 500 sections or 600 sections.

Let's do a comparison. Seats in the end zone at LSU are $610 after TAF fees. This comes out to $87.14 a game when you divide by 7 games.

Seats in the Saints end zone (unless you are in sections 500-600, which isn't comparable to Tiger Stadium given we don't have an upper deck in the end zone) are $80-85 a game.

45 yard line seats at LSU are $1,160 after TAF donation. Comparable seats in the dome go for $2,980. Go from the goal line to the 20s and you are looking between 1900 and 2400.

So, I am going to go out on a limb and say you are probably fabricating your story a bit.
