Not saying it's made up......but why weren't these people snapping up all of the season tickets that were available on the secondary market prior to this season?

Maybe they are waiting to get tickets in their name and don't want to just keep paying for someone else to keep them?

Hey, in all seriousness....I will probably have a pair in the lower bowl available next year if you're interested.

Appreciate it, but I would need 3. This is the problem I run in to. People don't want to sell 3 tickets. If you got 3 together, I will gladly buy them and I will attend every game from the first snap to the last.

College football is doing what NASCAR has done and that is priced tickets WAY out of the price range for their fan base.

If you watch a NASCAR race you see alot of empty seats. I predict the same for College football.

These fans must not want to really go to the game then.

No. Big difference is the tickets to college games for the most part are sold. Even though no one is in the seat, the ticket is paid for. That is all that matters.

And that's the problem, the AD doesn't give a shite about the fans and what happens to them on game day. That's why I'll sell my tickets next year and wait till they get their shite together.

See the rest of my responses a page back.

I'm a huge fan, like you I attend games from the first snap to the last. Heck I even make most of the games on the road.

I think a lot of people are frustrated because there are some legitmate gripes, and we feel like LSU isn't doing a damn thing to address them. Some of them are trivial, but a lot hold some validity and the administration should take steps to make the Gameday experience more enjoyable for the patrons who are paying the bills.

1. Update the bathrooms in the Stadium - in addition, please have someone re-stock the soap/paper towels at halftime. In my section, both are generally gone by the beginning of the 1st quarter.

2. Please give us some relief during the ridiculous TV timeouts - there is an audible sigh everytime the red hat comes on the field during the CBS games. Give us a live look-in to another game. Doesn't cost LSU a cent to do this, and they could probably have someone sponsor it to bring in more revenue.

3. Traffic - Not sure how to correct this one, but there probably is something that can be done. I usually park around the outskirts, so I generally don't have a gripe with this one.

You not understanding the argument is the problem. I can't explain why you are wrong any more clearly than that. Go read about substitute goods if you need more info.

How long will someone continue to take a bath on the tickets until enough is enough? Same goes for corporate tickets...if they see that no one is using them they will eventually see the waste and cut them out.

Maybe you could just go to the games. Or stop buying tickets.

LSU will cut them out? As long as they are paid for they aren't going anywhere.

See and that's the problem and why I get annoyed with all of them. There are so many just stupid complaints about everything. Water is too expensive...seriously? You're at a sporting event...shite is expensive...5 bucks for a liter of water isn't really bad.

Very very legitimate complaints. The bathrooms should never be out of paper towels...that's bad.

And I agree about the live look in. Maybe LSU will pick this up as other schools begin to do so. I was in the stadium 2.5 hours before the Florida game and they had the Missouri-UGA game on TV for a bit. This would be VERY easy to fix.

I agree. I do usually park in Kirby Smith and never have any problem whatsoever leaving like you, however, I have parked in the lots by the old Box and there were wretched to get out of. But I don't really think anything else can be done. They contraflow those lanes out of there towards downtown.

He's referring to the corporation cutting them out of the budget I believe. Well, I assume, because as you noted, the alternative doesn't make any sense.

If they do, other people will buy them. That's the nifty thing, there are still lots of people waiting to buy tickets. Just because he can't sell his tickets second hand doesn't mean there aren't lots of people waiting to get rights to tickets.

You aren't very smart. You are arguing something that I am not arguing. Someone said out tickets are expensive. I said they are not expensive compared to other schools. Talking about the elasticity of demand and substitute goods is retarded. I realize you just made a C in Charles Roussell's Econ 2030 last semester and want to show all of us how smart you are, but it really isn't relevant. I am strictly talking about ranking the tickets in order from most expensive to least expensive.

No, the corporations will stop purchasing them if they see the tickets are going to waste. Why would they keep up with an expense if they're aren't in demand by their clients. They can use that money on other ways to entertain.

I addressed that above, but LSU tickets will always be used by corporations.

Is asking them not to run out of water and ice during a fricking day game too much to ask??
