He's probably going to get his chance there soon- but that isn't going to solve the overall issues aTm is dealing with.
They look...bewildered.

It's a message board, and obviously you care enough to post in this thread. Ricks went to Bama, Max to A&M and Arik Gilbert still hasn't played yet at UGA.

These former LSU players will always somewhat trigger the fan base so deal with it. And like myself, I would hope no one would wish harm to these young men, but I also don't wish for any of the 3 to come back, look good and beat LSU like Clausen did for Tennessee.

ETA: It'd also be absolutely brutal if TJ Finley lights it up for Aubbie against us.

Did he transfer to some place between LSU and aTm? Because he wasn't likely to start at LSU by any stretch of the imagination.

This is what he wanted. LSU couldn't come close to the NIL deal A&M offered. More like paying him as extra insurance to get his brother.

Meh. Hes a grown as man now. He has a mother and a father that are completely involved. He didn't do this blindly and thoroughly thought it thru before abandoning his teammates to go to a hated rival.
He is a bad decision maker, or even worse, not smart enough to listen to better decision makers.
I hope he regrets every second of being an aggie. And now we know if he ever sees the field, they will be desperately down to the 3rd string.
I want them to lose every game..same as Texas, same as Bama, same as every other team we face.

Changing tone...its really wierd to me how athletes with the ex great dads, always seem to be more mediocre or not work out at all at higher levels. I guess maybe the extreme hunger isn't there due to the fact that they have wealthy comfortable lives, outside of sports

I do feel bad for max, the athlete. He was slung around by his dad, and also his younger brothers talent, and just made bad decisions. His dad had preconceived perception that shouldn't have factored into his sons decisions

He has no idea how he feels. You need to ask his dad for that.

If he doesn't transfer, does Kelly still go after Daniels? If not, I don't see how Max doesn't get the start over a checked out Brennan and whatever it is Nuss is doing back there

Max isn't great, but he's got a solid body of work as an SEC starter and would have to fail pretty badly to be behind those 2

Careful. I can see Max playing LSU as QB and pulling out a win. TXAM has talent.

Plus, we have a history of former LSU QB beating us.

I didn't consider that but I do think Kelly still goes after Daniels. He probably sees Max's play last season and feels that Daniels would be an upgrade. And I think he is for whatever little that mean .

Not sure Brennan looks as far out in that situation, maybe that motivates him to want to stay and try a bit harder to capture the starting job.

I honestly thin Max should have considered a mis tier school. He probably puts up gaudy numbers on a Sunbelt or CUSA school.

They always looked mediocre with Jimbo running the O... now they lost the guy that could do defense...good luck with that Ags.
