First guy I can think of to transfer from a position where he was very likely to start and then ride the bench. I’m sure he has some regrets

What in the hell did he expect unless Jimbo sold him a bill of goods. His brother the tight end was the recruiting target, Max just came along with the package. He would have been 4th string here.

Probably about the way that he felt about being the starting qb on a dumpster fire program last year.

Had he not left, it’s entirely possible that he’s starting for LSU now, as y’all “he’d be 4th string here” people forget that he literally beat out Nuss while here, so that puts him in direct competition with Daniels for the starting role, who may or may not have transferred in had Johnson stayed.
