We would drill Tex. Mack needs to be put in coaching hospice. His career/program are terminal. Texas has NO business being out of the top 10. TIGAHS 31 Clemp-sum 17

It would have been a great game and probably would have the most anticipated bowl this year. It also woulda been a good measuring stick for this team. Don't get me wrong, Clemson isn't a pushover either but Texas matches up better with us on both sides of the ball.

FWIW LSU wins 24-17

You are waaaay overrating Texas. Clemson is the better team.

Did you watch the Bama game? The players dominated. It was the coaching that royally screwed us.

Did you watch the game? I didn't realise that the coach's made the key personal foul that lost a scoring, touched the ball before it went 10 yards on the onside kick and missed assignments and tackles on a screen play.…

Yes the coach's made mistakes but the players did as well the team was in position to win and there see too many mistakes by players and coach's to win a game like that. Don't let your hate for a coach cloud you judgment…

Miles made 2 coaching errors that allowed us to lose those 2 games:
Met should have been playing more as a backup in 2011. He would have progressed faster this year and beat Fla. Too many goofball plays called that if one was taken back we would have beat Alabama at home in 2012. That is why he is second to Saban at this time. He needs to improve besides his players.

I know. Goddam coach Mills ran into the backfield and didn't cover his man.

There are certainly things I would like to have seen the coaches do differently, but mine is a fairly uninformed perspective. So is yours. Losers always want to blame one individual or one unit. Winners win, and lose, as a team.

So it was the players' fault that Chavis told the CBs to line up 10 yards off of the receivers in the last 1:25 of the game and to go away from what was working? Or that Miles dialed up a fake field goal in field goal range and kicked a field goal that was way out of Alleman's range? I don't hate the coaching but they had a severe brain lapse during the Bama game. Again I say we were in a position to win but the coaches screwed us over. Miles even admitted to it.

I really do have the closest thing to hatred as possible for me for Texas and Mack Brown...they will be preseason top 10 now because of this bullshite win...also - i like what Oregon State represents as a program and was sad to see them lose...

I agree higgins...Mack is weak and so is Texas...i hate to see them win in anything...

our domination of them in the CWS via Chad Jones was one of the best things i have ever witnessed...

sorry for hijacking thread, but i just cannot stand the short horns.

The Rant can't handle the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, can you imagine the meltdown over playing in the Alamo Bowl.

I don't hate Texas. Maybe because my late grandfather was a horns fan. I lived in tex for 2 yrs. Kinda like being in Bama, even if you're not a fan of the 2 big schools, you sorta pick a side. I always pulled for tex over aTm. Also, the 80's/90's series with the Aggies gave me hemmorhoids. Never liked aTm. I only lived 4 yrs in Louisiana, so, proximity plays a part in team hatred.
