This delusion is what makes me hate a lot of LSU fans.

You hate the "delusion" of self-respect and hope.

Give him one more chance with LF and Harris. Just one more chance.

Who's with me?

I'm in. ONE MORE YEAR!

Hell no. He killed the last few years with the same slop. The new coach may actually be able to challenge for the SEC next year. No more wasting time.

I want Miles to stay here until he completely retires from football.

Ideally I would like for Miles to return and finish his career with a chance at the national championship next year. I think the talent is there, and I believe he could turn it around. But, his chances of doing so are so poisoned at this point that I'm not sure it's in the team's best interest. I would hate to see this team struggle next year with a new coach intent on making changes. The talent we have right now could be wasted during the transition just as easily as by a continuation of what we are seeing now. Keeping Miles would produce a chaotic and tumultuous season even if we were winning, however. At this point, I hope that he is allowed to step down on his own terms and the transition to a new staff can go as seamlessly as possible. He deserves to be carried off the field by his team after beating a good team in a bowl game

Paul dietzel went 11-17 in a 3 season stretch
Charlie Mac went 5-5 in '74 and 4-7 in '75

Don't you think fans are being a little ridiculous by sobbing over losing 3 games?

I believe this would hurt LSU more than help. If you are a top recruit after all of this smoke are you signing on to play for a coach that most likely only has 1 year? Then you have no idea who you'll play the rest of your college career with. You probably have a better chance at retaining the talented class if you bring in someone that they like to continue to recruit them to signing day. Just my opinion. Who really knows.

No, I hate the assumption that whoever comes in, if Miles is out, will automatically make this happen.

This staff recruited this class.
Think about that.

Correct. When it was expected that they would be here for years to come. Think about that.

I'm just glad I won't have to make this decision and live with it, no matter which way it goes.
