re: I thought SECN+ was available on ESPN+? Why can’t I get any of these recent games?

I have ESPN+ and can get seemingly every other shitty college baseball game.
I'll add my $0.02: If you have both ESPN+ and a cable subscription, SEC Network Plus will apparently not work at all. I was off from work this week and decided to add an ESPN+ subscription to watch other stuff while I am off.
Even though my cable provider is also listed in the app, in the browser, basically everywhere I interact with ESPN, it would not let me watch the LSU game. Once I deleted my ESPN+ credentials, it finally let me watch. For about 2 minutes until it was run-ruled. Now, I am watching the replay.

Either you have shitty internet or are just technologically retarded. I have both and they both work.

If you have ESPN+ then you do have SECN. You need to get the ESPN app on your smart tv then search LSU. I have watched them all that way.
It was funny at first, but it's time to stop trolling

A lot of people in this thread being assholes for no reason. There are people who have everything needed and are still having problems this season.
I have the SECn through my provider. I have the provider listed on my espn app. I also have espn+. I have never had an issue until this season. Last weekend I got the game on my phone but the TV kept saying I didn't have approval or something to that effect. I logged out, logged back in, verified everything - no go.
My dad has had similar issues with his account. He has all of the same stuff I do and some games he's been able to watch and others he gets the same error message.
Again, never had this issue before. It has to be a bug in the latest update.

SECN+ has been around since 2011. Streaming has been normal for at least the last 5 years. If you can't figure it out in 2023, you deserve to be made fun of.

As far as technology, the issue persisted for me across a Roku TV, a Firestick, two Win 10 laptops (x3 browsers apiece), and via the ESPN app on 2 iPhones (X and 12 Pro Max). Internet is Starlink, but issue persisted across cellular and 2 different LTE routers (although they all go across the same cell tower so that's not much variation). I went through ESPN chat support, telephone support x2, and even DirecTV support before resolving the issue myself by removing the ESPN+ credentials.

As do I. I have no issues watching either. I do have an issue at times where I have to re-login with my DTV credentials into ESPN. I can't figure it out, just come to expect it now. I read once that it might be an issue with DTV and AT&T internet authentication.

I guess I dreamed watching them all then. What a bunch of idiots.

I don’t doubt you did watch them, but it wasn’t because of your ESPN+ sub.

How much money do you want to bet that you didn't watch the LSU game tonight on ESPN+?

This is the same guy who will tell you the grass is blue and be dead serious.

I get it now. Sorry for the thread, it’s not confusing once you get it
Appreciate the insight from those that aren’t assholes. Looking forward to watching rest of the season.

Are you logged in to the ESPN app with BOTH sets of credentials?
The only problem I have ever seen is people signing in to one ore the other and trying to watch something on the one they were not logged in on. The log ins are not linked, you have to sign in to each separately. I have never had a problem for years since streaming was an option.

No it's not. I know exactly what I'm getting with my ESPN+ subscription.
What does you knowing about it have to do with consistency? SECN+ not being on ESPN+, or a separate streaming service altogether, is inconsistent. They are very different services with the same naming format. Disney+ is also different, as it has a wide range of offerings while ESPN+ is more limited.
It’s bad marketing, regardless of whether you studied the programming before purchasing

I do agree that both should be offered under the same banner, but they’re not because of contractual obligations with the SEC.

Bro. Are you mad because you paid for a service (one that you shouldn’t have paid for to begin with) that you didn’t research and find out what you get with that service? Lol

I can confirm I had something similar for a couple of games with both SEC+ at home and ESPNU while travelling. Only difference was I logged off and then back on with my provider log-in and if fixed the issue each time.
I know a lot of people are confused with the whole process and many issues are user error, but regardless, the ESPN app does have login credential issues for both ESPN+ and the provider login on random smart tv's at random intervals. It seems to be exacerbated if you utilize the app on more than one television.
