I take it the our newest DL commit knew what was going to happen and is probably happy with who they have coming in to coach DLine.

I’m surprise that no one has posted a wish list of coaches yet. I looked at the top defenses and their DCs from 2023 but I don’t know anything about these guys. Chevis Jackson and Bo Davis are the only two position coaches that I’m interested in.

If you don't think every very good DC's agents didn't contact LSU during the season you are crazy. I think BK has his guy and now him and SW have to work out the money.

LSU is a big boy job. You've got talent, resources, a history and commitment to winning, fertile recruiting. No excuse for us not to make top 5 hires....for one, Kelly ain't going to slack on the hiring because he's too busy trying to bang a 37-year-old divorcee from Prairieville.

I don't know exactly how those conversations go, but I really can't imagine the head coach of a major college team telling a 17 year old kid who is being fired/hired.
I'm sure they do the generic, we are going to have to take a long hard look at the defense and evaluate -- enough to get the message across, but not so far as to say the staff is gone.
