I think we didn’t notice what a problem Nuss could be bc we pulled wins out of our asses

He played terribly against Ole Miss, and without the 4th down throw to Anderson and the OT pass to Lacy, we would’ve lost. Those plays saved him from criticism then, and a lot of us turned a blind eye to it. But last night was not an anomaly and not “just a bad night.” It’s just the first time his bad playing LOST the game.

Let’s not forget how he milked the roughing the passer penalty vs. South Carolina, and we were lucky to face a backup QB with officiating in our favor.

We could easily have four losses, and he would’ve been a key reason for two more. Blame Baker and Kelly if you want, but Nuss lost us the game last night.

And why can’t he take the easy yards and run for a 1st down when it’s there? How hasn’t this been drilled into him all season?

Nuss is a five loss QB under normal circumstances

He is a wildcard, but a credible running game would help a lot. Also, if he ran when it was advantageous, that would help as well. Not sure he is improving.

He was the number 1 rated QB in the SEC going into last night People forget how bad college QB play can be.

I’ve said it all year and everyone argued the media hype talking points. The kid has a strong arm but is horrible in decision making.

They give him so much credit for making throws in anticipation like a NFL qb but it’s reckless to do that with receivers that will never be on an NFL level.

Dudes been throwing off his back foot and into double coverage all season but hasn't faced half the criticism Jayden did year 1.

Nuss has some of the cleanest pockets I've seen week in and out

You are such a goddamn retard. The entire offense all season has been Nuss. Every single game is all on his shoulders. We have no running game whatsoever and no elite WRs and week in, week out he’s still able to overcome that and produce and get wins. The way some of you are acting is absolutely pathetic and cowardly

He makes some great throws then will dump the ball into coverage to avoid getting hit by a rusher

Ole Miss and SC were impressive because a QB in first season as a starter shook off bad starts and made the plays late when needed.

This game is different because he shook off a relatively good start in a hostile environment and collapsed late.

We are also too pass happy and haven’t had a typical running game since Kelly started. Stats were more balanced in past due to JD runs including on called pass plays and like us last night defenses having to account for both the QB and the RB in run game.

Our run offense needed more of a redesign and off season focus including on run blocking than it got. Instead it’s like we just decided to pass more often.

Jayden Daniels came to LSU after starting at Arizona St. for 3 straight years. He had more than 20 starts to his name.

This is Nuss first year as starter.

BS. Criticism of JD was just blamed on race and focused on more by those who thought this. When not winning the back up QB has always become popular with starter being criticized. Some were calling for a backup last night who has not taken a snap in a serious game situation yet. JD had several wtf games his first season at LSU and 4th as a starter including 2 games he didn’t break 90 yards in passing, and too often he ran instead of making the throw to open receivers. He was inconsistent throughout the season but also during the individual games in 2022. In his case it looked very similar to issues he had during his 3 starting years at Arizona State which made it seem like it was just the way he was going to be. His growth between 2022 and 2023 was incredible.

Lmao holy shite, like you can’t pay enough to get this much comedy from our fans, NFL draft experts, which is the job they are paid to do, all having Nuss sky rocketing up the board and quite a few are saying he may be the possible #1 qb taken must have pt all wrong, and our fans, who work at State Farm but sit on their couch every Saturday and expertly evaluate qb talent have it all right! Lmao, we are right, experts are wrong! Just step back and think about what I just said for a minute and tell me you didn’t chuckle a little lmao?
