I agree, and that's what concerns me. If he's not, I don't trust his ability to make something out of nothing.

This has been said every offseason on this board for the past 4 years.

I mean, it is an issue. If Burrow had Brennan's mobility in 2019, we don't win the natty and he's not even a Heisman finalist.

Probably will demoralize teams when he is in and putting 63 up on people

disagree. Wasn't Brennan's fault the defense looked like a bunch of clowns.

I'll support whomever takes the spot. But it is clearly going to be Brennan. Everything is pointing that way.

Even if he doesn't start he is the backup.
Where is he going to go after all this time?

How foolish of you. You know good and well the back up is always the better QB.

No one would be sad if he does well. However, he’s not getting faster. He couldn’t convert a 3rd down against shitty teams. Maybe you’re right but there’s little supporting evidence

johnson was great for a freshman and what he was asked to do but brennan’s arm talent is astronomically better than johnson’s and i don’t understand how some of y’all are so high on him at this point. his potential is through the roof but he’s not brennan

People are high on him because he performed well when he was asked to, particularly for a freshman. I'm not sure how you're not high on him.
