I just don’t want Tulane to win, I want Tulane to soundly beat them and send them back to irrelevance.

This! RMFW!

I do think Tulane has a shot. Depends on mentality inside OM right now after Kiffin departure.

I want both Tulane and JMU to pull off upsets because it would be hilarious. Tulane especially since it’s OM they’re playing

Perfect ending : the weenies win on a last second bad call. To the extent greenies would not be able to really celebrate and the Black Bears would be pissed off all during the post season.

This is literally my worst case "meteor game" scenario.

I simply cannot bring myself to actually hope for either of these teams to win. And it is deeply uncertain which one I want to lose more. I suspect come gametime (if I'm troubled enough to watch at all) my more recently inflamed Ole Miss hatred will triumph over the more distantly smoldering Tulane hatred, but I honestly can't tell yet.

Could it be more than a coincidence that 3i Atlas just happened to pick this season to appear in our solar system?

I don't get the hate for Tulane, I am 110% rooting for them. Them playing Ole Piss just makes me root for them harder.

Old school in-state rivalry. From the inception of LSU sports, through the early pre-conference days, and the first few decades of SEC rivalry (until they left the conference), Tulane was our bitter in-state rival. Ole Miss was always our most bitter out-of-state rival. It wasn't until a few decades after Tulane left the SEC and fell back in competitiveness that Ole Miss started moving into the clear top position as our rival. For some of us older fans, though, that Tulane hate still burns pretty bright.

That makes sense. The first LSU game I ever went to with my dad was LSU vs Tulane. Got the LSU/Tulane Rag souvenir. I just personally have always been a fan of Tulane because of that plus concept and the fact they are in Louisiana

Having what LK built be successful is in LSUs best interest…Having them succeed… all the way to the championship is best… LK built it….
Anything else is allowing your emotions to drive…
Geaux Rebels … for now.

I wanted them to lose even before we got Kiffin.

I never pull for an SEC team unless it directly helps LSU.

Why would any LSU fan want a conference foe to have success?

This can be said of Tulane as well. Personally, I'm rooting for the rare double-forfeit.

There are people who don’t? F OM. Wouldn’t look great for SEC but unless sec leaves espn doesn’t really matter since espn appears to control the CFP committee anyway.
