Why did LSU play better after Ricks was out of the line up? Maybe we don’t need him.

It's Eli's decision.
He's grown enough to make decisions.
Some of y'all treat these guys like they're
5 and can't do anything for themselves.
If he's entertaining these dickbags,
then he's already been entertaining the
thought of not being at LSU beforehand.

NIL “agents” approached him and his mom at the midpoint of last season. These guys are scumbags who target talented players on bad teams, giving them bad info, and causing a rift between the player and school re NIL. Almost everything these guys say is bullshite. Think the scummy dude who can’t make it as an agent, so he slimes his way into player’s lives with false NIL promises, hoping he will retain them as clients and get hired on by an agency.
I have both of these fricker’s names and I’m thinking about blasting them. One is from Detroit and is a big OSU guy. The other is in LA and wants Eli to go to bama.

This actually makes a lot of sense if that's what is going on. I honestly thought Eli was a team first kind of guy. I guess I was wrong. If he wants to have a mini cash out instead of waiting for the draft next year then leave.

Ricks is the best cover corner in America. I’m butt hurt too but let’s not let that cloud judgement. Our defense would have been even more improved with him

Sounds like LSU needs to up its NIL game

If Eli Ricks doesnt have enough respect to at least meet the new coach, hear what his plans are, then shake hands, and let the coach know what his plans are as a player trying to get to the NFL, then i want Eli Ricks to go wherever he needs to be to get himself some satisfaction. I watched every play of every game and Ricks played no better than the other corners if you grade him out percentage wise. He's a good corner, but we have more good corners on the team and we'll sign some more from right here in La. LSU and the state of La. produces too many good DB's to have to pucker up and kiss ones azz thats a rotten apple. If he dont wanna play here, I dont wanna waste a scholly on a playerl that needs his ego stroked and his azz kissed. Next man up, and see ya round Eli! Geaux Tigers

Pretty soon college athletes will have contracts like the Pro’s.. this is the start of a runaway train… the transfer portal is the starting point..you play here one year but looking for a better deal somewheres else in the meantime… so you enter the portal looking for a better deal the next year.. ain’t that right Eli Ricks???

Eli Ricks is besties with Ohio St qb probably getting NIL monies which is the lead to ricks with the NIL agent and probably promising him the moon with the other scumbag.

You’re speaking truth. Mad because Stingley got the money. That’s Purely Facts.
It just doesn’t make sense considering if he returns he’ll be the highest profile defensive player with Stingley gone. 20 year olds and logic don’t really mesh all the time
Hope Kbaby is enjoying Nashville!

No one deserves anything. If his name were valuable, he would have a return. Apparently it's not.

I thank Eli for his service while in the Tiger uniform, but he go kick rocks now that he has moved on.

The bigger issue is if the schools (coaches) are targeting players for this purpose through these NIL agents. Coaches can not recruit kids that are enrolled at other schools if they are not in the transfer portal. However, these agents can talk to kids while they are still enrolled and encourage them to transfer.
